Congressman Tom Cotton lays out exactly why the Democrats’ “fake outrage” over the Benghazi hearing is not exactly credible coming from a party whose members acted with partisan acrimony over an Iraq War that they voted for and took no responsibility for carrying out.
“Forgive me if I don’t join my Democratic colleagues in their fake outrage. Four Americans lost their lives that night at Benghazi. They deserve justice. The American people deserve the truth. One other lesson I learned in the Army is we leave no man behind. And we will not leave these four men behind.”

I have only read the transcript of his remarks, but wow! Go Tom Cotton!

It is about leaving them behind. THey were not tourists, they were diplomats. Not ‘four dead Americans’ but State Dept Staffers, in our consulate, on duty.
And it is an international incident .
Tom Cotton is right. And fox had better show this very important statement.
And the Democrats will not succeed in demagoging this. Everyone who understands this simple concept he’s talking about, knows this.
and if it had been a video, they should not have cowered and apologized, the cowards.
The video story is just evidence of a cover up.
They should have gone in to get those guys, dead or alive, and they should not ever have apologized for Anything.
Any low level staffer knows how to get past a jam by admitting a mistake and taking whatever consequences lie ahead but fixing the immediate problem is key.
These people do not.
They are spoiled and childlike, and this is what happens.
But Benghazi is about leaving troops behind, and Hillary can loathe them all she wants, but her acting on that will never sit well

No. I don’t mind at all. I am an English teacher and I take words seriously. As a grammar cop, I hope to remain humble.
I agree. Childlike is a term used in the Bible for how we are to be. Even a president can be so. Hence, W’s deference to the kids to whom he was reading on learning of 9 11.
Childish is running away and not reporting to the boss where you were. And, lest we forget, we are BO’s bosses.
We want to know where he was.
Trey will be fierce, which is something else altogether, one has reason to hope, and will find out for us, as he is paid and hired to do.

On the one hand, among the many Official Positions of the US Military are “to run to the sound of the guns, “ and “ - - we leave no man behind. - - - “.
On the other hand, the US Commander in Chief’s Official Policy has been, and is now, to “Lead from Behind.”
Which is the hand that offers the most protection to those we hire to be put in harm’s way to protect us?
IMHO, the two hands are mutually exclusive.
After THE TRUTH is revealed by Trey Gowdy’s Select Committee, severe punishment must be meted out that will serve as a deterrent to any future Commander in Chief who tries TO MAKE SURE THAT IT DOES HAPPEN AGAIN.
To cease to severely punish the guilty, is to cease to have reason for Law and Order.
Currently, B. Hussein Obama is Guilty of Treason until proven Innocent.
No need to flame me, as ONLY in US politics is someone Guilty until proven Innocent.
The rest of us must comply with the Law of the Land: Tell the Truth, accept responsibility for one’s actions, and comply with THE LAW.
This is in glaring contrast to what the Obama Administration’s, (and the Democrats who still support Obama), Rules of Conduct have actually been for the last 5 years as follows:
LIE, DENY AND REFUSE TO COMPLY.
The choice is clear for the Democrats: seek the truth with Gowdy, or continue to embrace the CULT OF OBAMANATION.
The rest of us must comply with the Law of the Land: Tell the Truth, accept responsibility for one’s actions, and comply with THE LAW.
