New Hampshire Rep: Food Stamp Recipients Should Be Able to Buy Guns with EBT Cards

On May 7th New Hampshire Representative Timothy Horrigan (D-Durham) stood on the state house floor and argued against legislation forbidding the use of EBT cards for guns, saying such a ban "is a blatant violation of the Second Amendment."

I heard this on Fox News this am. He actually was arguing for their Second Amendment right to Buy Arms. That excluding gun purchasing from an EBT card was an against the Constitution of these United States. It was actually an interesting argument.

I'd be willing to allow...EBT benefits to be used to purchase a hunting license

I'd like to see hunting licenses given away to everyone for free, or at greatly reduced prices. In most parts of the country, there are far too many deer and not enough people killing them (except with their cars).
