Democrats propose Internet voting in 2016, making Republican also consider the idea

Democrats are thinking about using Internet balloting in 2016 to expand their voter base and select a president -- prompting Republicans to consider such a strategy to keep from losing ground.

Iowa Democrats proposed the idea and several others during a recent Democratic National Committee meeting, saying Internet balloting could expand access to their unique caucus process to overseas military personnel, absentee voters and others.

“I think it’s a very bad idea,” says the Heritage Foundation’s Hans von Spakovsky, who thinks computer-based voting will never happen, or at least not in the “foreseeable future.”

Registration should be done in person too, not have leftist orgs carrying in boxes and boxes of voter registrations all in the same handwriting.

They can;t even run a damned healthcare website right and now they want to turn the most sacred right of voting over....

Well I am sure Hillary will get 99.99% of the vote in 2016 with a .01% margin of error if this crap gets approved.

Since the Obozocare website was such a success and extremely secure, why not trust the government with internet voting?

Pfft...

“What could go wrong?”

Well the democrats will probably hire the same people who designed the Obamacare website for one.

The youngsters who can’t afford a car but have an I phone can vote democrat, while the oldsters who don’t have internet but vote republican will have difficulty

It is the democrat plan.

Well, I suppose this is just another way to expand the opportunity for voter fraud.

It would also allow the less motivated to vote easily enough; and which party do you suppose that would tend to favor?

Now, now... what are you suggesting, that our Loyal Opposition Democrat Party is ANYTHING but honest, loyal, forthright, of the highest integrity and ethical character???

You should be ashamed! Why, EVERYBODY knows that they are a loyal American political party!

And another thing... bleaaghhhh! I think I just threw up a little...

(/s as if I need to...)

uhh....hmmmm....consider it considered and the idea is rejected.

Instead lets declare Election Day a Holiday and every person showing up to vote has to show valid ID and walk out with a purple finger.

Of course that’s too much to ask for, how do you expect Democrats to get the dead vote if you have Voter ID?

Is that really too much to ask?

I'd ask for more...

* Purging the rolls of the deceased
* Some sort of Insta-check to make sure the voter isn't a fellon
* Poll watchers brought to all Senior Homes, etc were the Dem's have been playing games for years.
* Can we check that someone isn't voting in FLA and NY, another DNC trick that has been going on far too long with Snow Birder's and College Kids.

No way. It will become our hackers vs. your hackers. I say we do away with absentee ballots, except for the military and those working abroad, and go the one person one vote purple finger route.
