I have 22.5 years on...will retire when I am ready. and as for your judgments of people you don’t know, well, that speaks volumes. I peruse this site because I have similar beliefs about big government, and I am a conservative at heart. I get news and information here that I can’t find elsewhere... I may on occasion voice my opinion about topics that I actually have experience in, or ask questions about topics that I would like to know more about. I don’t expect to be called names by people that don’t know me, my circumstances.

Nobody knows anyone else here unless they choose to expose certain elements of themselves, or meet other Freepers on things like Freeps (we have them here in the Washington DC area). I let people know which state I live by indicating my state of residence on my page; I notice you do not; that's fine, it's an anonymous forum. If you feel offended by things that other anonymous posters call you, well sorry, it's the nature of the beast, it goes with the territory. As the owner of this website says, this is a free-wheeling conservative forum.

Laz and I share a lot of common interests, and often defend each other. I do so with other Freepers. I've been around a while. I hope you do well, stay safe, and make it to your retirement. I share your concerns with what's happening with the law enforcement field in the country.

Hahahahah. Hey, this is the internet. The volume of bad assumptions, some of them personal, approaches infinite.

As for cops, I think they are like airlines. The strength of the "us vs. them" barrier runs locale by locale.

Airline employees in some cities are downright helpful, and in others (same airline) they are downright hostile.
