BERKELEY, Calif.
A Cal football player is facing felony charges, accused of kicking a dog and seriously injuring a student at a fraternity party.
Damariay Drew was arrested Thursday afternoon. His attorney told KTVU on Friday that due to the high bail of $100,000, Drew will likely remain in jail until Monday when he is expected to appear in court.
Drew was recruited to UC Berkeley from Livermore High School in 2012. He joined the team as a safety on a full athletic scholarship.
Berkeley Police spokeswoman Officer Jamie Lucero told KTVU that the incident happened Sunday May 4th at a fraternity house on the 2700 block of Bancroft Way. A police document says that during a party at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, Drew said he'd been bitten by the victim's 20 pound Jack Russell mix dog.
Well...as the article states... the dog is some little jack russel mutt. He kicked the dog—in addition to repeatedly punching the owner
I guess in some quarters beating someone’s face in is acceptable for being bitten by a rat dog
Wanda: Sheriff, the *ing dog that eats black people. What the *, man? I’ll tell you what, y’all stay here, pet your crazy-a** racist dog, but I am not bringing my black a** back up into this *ing “hotel” until y’all get rid of that *ing Klan dog. Gotta Klan dog! Lookin’ at me like I’m a damn T-bone!
He should have said something like that. And then just left.
“Damariay Drew”........I stopped reading right there.
Where do they find those names?
——Jack Russell mix dog——
There you have it. Such a dog can and very often are absolutely obnoxious. A good deserving kick in the chops will modify the behavior
Go figure.
Every dog I have ever owned knew better than me whom to trust & whom NOT to trust.
