Dozens of people rode their ATVs and motorcycles on an off-limits trail in southern Utah on Saturday in a protest against what the group calls the federal government's overreaching control of public lands.
San Juan County Sheriff Rick Eldredge said from 40 to 50 people, many of them waving American flags and some carrying weapons, drove about a mile down Recapture Canyon

I love the name of the canyon.
They were probably looking for a place to “go Galt.”
It doesnt GET any better.
Hopalong Hairy Reed is rumored to be in talks with the state of Utah..discussing the immediate renaming of said canyon. No word yet on proposals for the new name...
Speaking of federal overreach, did Tombstone, AZ ever get its aqueduct repaired?
Reid’s Hell. Heh, heh.
Reid’s Hell Canyon....
I like it! ole Hopalong is likely hankerin for a news conference about now...
Yet another question for conservative candidates: will you vote to restore the BLM “to order”, as well as to reduce their size and power?
(This implies the return of a lot of federal land takings to the states, even if petty federal judges do not approve.)
This is the very latest info on The Tomstone situation and its 2 years old.
Thank you for the info. I can't believe their governor hasn't simply dispatched one of their National Guard engineer battalions to fix this years ago.
It appears to me that everything that Obama gets involved in .......Degenerates to the point of utter futility!
How theyre surviving without that water.. I do not know.
Stupid proles; don’t you know EVERYTHING is ‘sacred’ to some indians somewhere and/or deemed worthy of “preservation” by your betters?
the nerve, acting like you can just use ‘public’ land!
Up in the sky, its a U-2!!!
No need to make a big seen, they will all be arrested and held separately.
Like in Wisconsin, it be some BS secret John Doe warrant.
They will not be allowed to tell anyone about their arrest, under further penalty.
A lot of those arrogant and feckless bastards need to be "removed" from the bench.
I've always been miffed at the idea that large tracts of land (i.e. the Black Hills) were declared off-limits because they were "sacred." So if some Indian tribe had declared all the land west of the Mississippi, oh what the hell, all of North America sacred, people were supposed to go elsewhere and not offend the Indians? Bulls..t.
With all the public money Grifter Reid has scammed through the years, he undoubtedly has beaucoup bunkers and safe villas far from us, but not far from his stash, prolly in Sicily.
I would advise all riders to cover the identifiable features of their faces. The fedcoats will use facial recognition software to pursue the riders, one by one, after the fact.
