Do Reuters writers even read Reuters?
One has to ask this question because just a week after Lucia Mutikani of Reuters reported that the paltry 0.1 percent economic growth for the first quarter would probably be revised to show a contraction, Richard Cowan also of Reuters declared that a "rising" U.S. economy could help Democrats. To get an idea of the absurdity of these wildly contrasting Reuters reports, let us first look at Cowan's happy look today at a non-existent economy that would help Democrats...if only it were true:

Yes, if the economy rises, it could help democrats. But it hasnt and it isn’t.

I suppose a rising economy COULD help the Dems. But, first you have to have a rising economy.

I imagine it will be hard to sell big government liberalism to young voters who are unemployed and in debt or about to graduate and looking at the class a year and two years ahead of them, flipping burgers to pay their student loans.
