Guessing that Crisco’s health will be a factor in the runoff.

Brad Crone, a political strategist and longtime friend of Crisco’s, said he had
just spoken to Crisco Monday morning. They were finalizing plans to announce on
Tuesday morning that he would concede the election to Clay Aiken.

Every dead Democrat is a good Democrat.

It's not like this either of these yahoos was going to win.

We had a congressman elected to congress a month after his death here in Northern California.

From Wikipedia
Miller was elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-sixth and Eighty-seventh Congresses. Rep. Miller authored the legislation that established Point Reyes National Seashore. He served in Congress from January 3, 1959, until his death in an airplane accident near Eureka, California, October 7, 1962.

Miller was elected posthumously to the Eighty-eighth Congress.

Does anyone have an idea whether Aiken has a chance of beating the R candidate in November?

Of all the “news” stories, I see nothing about this important question.

Clay Aiken will win the Democrat primary because Democrats are not capable of employing reason and critical thought to determine if a person is qualified for a particular office. Instead, they rely solely on emotion combined with a barbaric desire for power over others. At least this time, Jim Clyburn won’t embarrass himself by voting for the black guy.

Lt. Columbo would like to have a little chat with these two Clay Aiken supporters.

VIDEO

"Uh, I know you two had absolutely nothing to do with the death which was completely accidental...but just ONE more question..."

Also depends on NC election laws. At this point how does his death legally effect the outcome? Curious.

In many states a spouse can take over and sympathy works for women in elections.
