Ukrainian ministry of defense managed to intercept conversation between O Barkashov, coordinator from Russia (phone number 79151328336) and local executor in Donetsk D. Boitsov (0994721504). During the conversation, in very dirty and brutal manner, they talk about the upcoming referendum. Boitsov says that he is not ready for the referendum and that a major part of Ukrainian special forces is near town. Boitsov also adds that he is going to call off the referendum.
In response, Barkashov says that Boitsov can't call off the referendum and that it is not necessary to perform it the legit way. He says that in the end no one will care about it. All that Boitsov has to do is to write whatever number he finds is suitable. If he wants, he can say that 99% of people voted for joining Russia [a lot like in Crimea]. What do we learn?
Boytsov has been talking to some seriously bad dudes, and was advised to fake the election, fearing there was little support.
But also: Boytsov considers Putin has done absolutely nothing to help Donetsk.
Was there really very little support: Even Western journalists were struck by the long lines to vote and the widespread support for secession by those they spoke to in line.
Where did the sudden support come from? A Kiev-backed killing spree using paramilitary groups because the military refused to kill their countrymen. The Kiev regime doesn’t view ethnic Russians as Ukrainians.
And therein lies the ultimate justice of secession, despite the participation of some bad dudes: Given the ferocity of the hatred against Russophones, you can’t expect Ukrainophones and Russophones to share a country, and separating them is so feasible.

The Odessa and Mariupol Massacres solidified support for the separatists, even among some Southeast Ukrainians. The unelected Kiev regime is seen as illegitimate by many. The Right Sector goons are running amock, as the election day killings of unarmed civilians clearly shows.
Western Journos who interviewed voters said that as many were there who wanted a united Ukraine, but couldn’t stomach the not-a-Nazi Nazi’s in Kiev, as there were that wanted independence.
The Army is so unreliable that Kiev has taken to bolstering regular units with Right-Sector NKVD-like units to insure “political reliability.”
First, we find the candid assessment that the reason things aren’t going to go well in Donetsk is because of the international community.
Barkashov: “Your intellectuals, they do everything properly, consider everything from the point of view of international law. And I tell them that those who act properly are being f***ed. They won’t even send observers to you.”
We also find that Putin is NOT sending troops, or offering any help at all to Donetsk, contrary to Western lies that this is all Putin’s doing. And that Donetsk wants to hold a lawful election, but cannot because Ukrainian militias are there:
Boytsov: “If we do not get support, if Russia does not bring its troops, we are f***ed. I am cancelling the referendum because it can’t be held. We can’t conduct it lawfully as long as those [Kiev soldiers] are there. [Later:] Everyone will turn their back on [Putin] — Russia, Belarus, Ukraine — if he does not help”
Barkashov: “WTF, our damn President is waiting for? I have no f***ing idea. People are writing to him, and are indignant. They can come down on him, but that’s what I can’t do.”
So what do we learn: Yes, that A RUSSIAN INDIVIDUAL suggested fraudulent elections. And that Russian individual is a seriously bad dude, whom a VIP Donestk leader is nonetheless turning to for advice.
But also: that the Donetsk official sincerely believed that the elections would be successful if the Ukrainians weren’t there,
That Russia is not behind the separatist movement.
And its absolutely telling that the real military in Ukraine wouldn’t go to war against the separatist, and that now we are dealing with the Kiev government giving its weaponry to militias.
Yes. The Russians should leave.
Putin should buy them bus tickets.
Learn your history. This is NOT Lviv or Kiev or even Odessa. The “Russians” founded Donetsk. (Well, actually a Welch businessman did, but he attracted the Russians.) This was at a time when there had never been a Ukraine. Never did a Russian move to Donetsk with the notion that he was occupying or immigrating.
For a little longer history:
“The Ukraine” came to be thought of as a region after Poland was divided between Austria and Russia: it was the Russian portion of what had been Poland. However, even this territory did not include the Donbas (the oblasts of Donetsk, Luhansk, etc.) This “rust belt” of the Russian Empire was, at the time, largely unpopulated hills, and the few that lived there were Russian, not Polish, and had been controlled by the Russian Empire ever since they drove out the Turks.
In the mid-19th century, a Welsh businessman realized he could develop minerals in the area which was cheap because it was useless for farming. He attracted tens of thousands of Russians to the area, and once an industrial base was established, the area prospered as a manufacturing base.
Influenced by Western capitalists, the region was included in the short-lived anti-communist independence of Ukraine (1918-1920), but since it was not an agricultural region, it was spared the effects of Stalin’s artificial famine launched in retribution by the Georgian despot in vengeance for the secession.
A buddy has a Ukrainian and a Russian working for his company. Up until recently, they got along great, now, they’re arguing about who is at fault.
There’s more than one Ukrainian that’s married to a Russian. These people are connected to each other, by their orthodox religion, similar language, and culture. Its Russian government shenanigans that’s tearing them apart. But some of the actions of the intermediate government in Kiev didn’t help.
Read the transcript: Either this is a fake, put out by Russian propagandists (which doesn’t make sense why they would include a Neonazi encouraging faking poll results), or the Russophones in the Ukraine are furious that they’ve received no support from Putin.
