I wish they’d stop repeating parts of his daily homily as something important. It is, but no more than any other priest’s homilies.

I am in disagreement with Pope Francis’ Socialism, but on other issues, he has a bit of real world about him.

Without diocese records of the parents' baptisms? No baptism classes for the parents? No declaration of Godparents? The parents' "standing" in the parish?
Everything is easier for aliens than for my own kids.

>""When the Lord shows us the way, who are we to say, 'No, Lord, it is not prudent! No, lets do it this way'... Who are we to close doors?"Good question, Mystery Babylon. Would he baptize extra dimensional beings aka demons too? How could he tell the difference? Look it up in his big book of Roman law?
Either follow Yehushua, or follow the Pope. It's not possible to follow two leaders.

Are the Martians sinners? If not, are there are other reasons to baptize them?
Can Martians be saved by a Human savior? Can He save only those of the Human species, or any Rational Animal of any species?
While the Pope and the world are talking about Martians, Cardinal Wuerl and most other American bishops continue to insist that Holy Communion must be given to pro-abortion politicians, but must be denied to divorced-and-remarried people. In other words, the sweetest, nicest divorced-and-remarried person you know is a worse sinner than Nancy Pelosi.

In 1937, Pope Pius XI had the encyclical “Mit Brenender Sorge” smuggled into Germany.
In 2014, with America being taken over by a fascist dictatorship, the Pope is talking about Martians.
This is the Baby Talk Papacy.

Pope Francis Says He Would Definitely Baptize Aliens If They Asked Him ToFLASH!!!
Mormon church lauds Pope Francis, and ups the ante by proclaiming mormons will baptize aliens AFTER DEATH even though they do not "request it", as they do for human dead!

Good for Pope Francis! ( now if he could only figure out how to wean all of Satan’s followers from “ that religion of peace” (sic!!) to a genuine relationship, communion with the one true God).

We're assuming that he alien is an air breathing land creature. What if it is aquatic? Do we baptize it by pulling it up into the atmosphere momentarily?

Why do I sense that the GLBT deviants and their supporters baited the Pope?
That he responded at all, just confirms his inherent peacefulness and tranquility.
I can't believe that the Pope just awakened one day and decided to address the issue of extraterrestrials.

They'd have to ask. As an ethnic religion, the Catholic Church doesn't proselytize.
At least the converted aliens wouldn't see their former traditions vilified constantly in Catholic media, as one fundamentalist convert did.

Pope Francis has a wry sense of humor and I'm sure the "alien" reference is part and parcel of it.
I'm Missouri Synod (conservative) Lutheran and I've had some reservations about the Pope for this and that as time has passed, However, a lot of the contention about him is gleefully whipped up by some media, political forum contributors, social media addicts and bloggers who are all just stirring the pot, picking at every nit, having a great old time doing it....and to them I say, "Lighten up on Francis, oh ye of too much spare time."
Sheesh, parsing EVERYTHING the Pope says is almost a blood sport on these FR pages and it's disgusting, seemingly endless...and getting stale.
