John Conyers ruled ineligible for the ballot
The Right Scoop ^ | 05-13-2014

In a final judgement issued Tuesday, Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett ruled that Conyers did not collect enough petition signatures to appear on the primary ballot, a major setback for the man who stands to be the longest serving member of Congress if reelected this year.

This is tragic comedy/farce, isn’t it?

What can you say about a career politician, who can’t even get his people to meet the minimal requirements to get his name on the ballot to run for re-election? What does that say about his management skills, organizational skills, etc. Which if he had good skills in those areas, would make him an effective congressman???? I wonder how the Democrats will spin this????

Far better that we pay him to do nothing than that we pay him to sit in Congress.

Are we sure there isn’t another Dem judge somewhere who will say, oh, the heck with it, that’s racist disenfranchisement and put him back on? That’s how they got Obama through - friendly judges did it all for him.

He will run as a write in. Remember Lisa Murkowski from Alaska?

In 2010 she did not win her primary but she ran as a write in candidate in the general election anyway. She and her people were at the polls and were helping people choose her name on the ballot. She ended up winning in the end beating out a Tea Party candidate Joe Miller who had actually won the primary she lost.

“Another POS bites the dust!”

Don’t count on it. After 49 very long years in Congress in a District cut out for him, he can probably win as a write-in.

When it comes to the DIMS getting their way, we have indeed become an outlaw nation, where laws are bent to broken, and nobody gets penalized. I suspect much of this behavior will become less frequent after President O. leaves office.

unfortunately, there are likely enough brain-dead zombie voters who gobble up the party line without question.
This group will have to be removed by ‘natural attrition’ (gradually dying off and not being replaced in the same numbers), which may take 15 to 20 years.

Rev. Horace Sheffield III is probably not going to be any better. He supports obamacare and the rest of the liberal agenda.
