Obama “has been briefed” translates to “Obama was in the room, watching ESPN, while the briefer spoke to him, but Valerie Jarrett was paying attention and might have asked a follow-up question or two. Once it was done, Obama, still with his eyes glued to the tube, thanked the briefer and that was that.”
