Footage has emerged of a white Mil Mi-24 helicopter allegedly being used in Ukraine's antiterror operation against pro-Russian separatists near the Donetsk Oblast city of Kramatorsk.
Three further combat Mi-24 helicopters and one transport Mi-8 helicopter bearing the UN logo were spotted in the region by the Russian news outlet Life News.
The UN has distanced itself from the footage below [video at URL], stating that, as Ukraine is a contributor to the organisation's forces, it must remove any UN insignia when the materials are returned.
A spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki Moon said that any use of peacekeeping equipment, bearing the name of the UN, for non-peacekeeping purposes would contravene UN rules.

The United Nations expressed concern Wednesday over footage purporting to show Ukrainian troops using a helicopter painted with the organization's colors and insignia.
Russian news website Life News reported that three U.N.-painted Mil Mi-24 combat helicopters and one Mi-8 transport helicopter had been spotted assisting government troops in eastern Ukraine. The footage could not be independently verified by NBC News.
LIfe News is officially independent but reportedly has ties to Russian security services. It posted a video of one of the Mil Mi-24 helicopters and the raw footage was posted to YouTube by the Russian state-run broadcaster Russia Today.

Well actually it looks morelike the US wants a war to further ‘seperate Russia from Europe’. They can’t afford to see the relationship Putin was building with Europe continuing with the debt we carry. Nor could Obama continue to watch Putin knock him off his self made pedastal as a world leader, which he did when he handled the Syria.
If Putin really wanted Ukraine he would have gone in there by now....especially knowing the Kiev military capability was all but nothing. He could have taken it any time, even before the protests.
Yes, the EU/US overreached by going into Ukraine with Maidan Protest and installing their puppet gov.....but going after Ukraine..and Georgia too has been the Eu/Nato/US push for the past 5 yrs. This just didn’t suddenly happen because of Maidan Protest.....it was planned and orchestrated 5 yrs out...and the USA is the primary mover in this now via undergirding the Kiev Gov. who cannot move without the US dictating how and when.
Kiev is forced to use mercenaries and the bad guys hired out because it’s army and police are not willing to shoot their own people.....and they have steadily had to increase their usage as things got worse.

All you Putinists are cultists on this matter. The NYT blog only questioned the photo with the bearded man, and it wasnt doctored. They said it was too blurry. The rest had no such issues.
