Hillary Clinton discusses her "hard choices" on Iran, Mideast peace

In a nod to the title of her upcoming memoir, Hillary Clinton on Wednesday detailed the "hard choices" she confronted on Iran's nuclear program and Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations during her tenure as secretary of state.

During a speech before the American Jewish Committee, Clinton said she and President Obama successfully rallied the international community to impose sanctions on Iran and bring the Iranians to the bargaining table on their nuclear program.

The former top diplomat left no doubt that she intends to claim credit for more foreign policy accomplishments than her critics are prepared to concede.

In 2008, she recalled, many believed Iran was "on the rise" -- its regional rival Iraq had been incapacitated by the 2003 U.S. invasion, and oil exports were booming.

Hillary’s “hard choice’ is maker’s Mark. She’s a raging alcoholic.

Dear Mrs. Clinton,
One can only note that Iran hasn’t been slowed up much
and that the same tactics are failing to work when used
against Putin.
Some hard choice alright, oh yeah, and those peace talks
with the palestinian murderers, that worked out swell too.
It really is tough that you quit your day job after
screwing up so royally, and still expect to try for that executive position but I wouldn’t even look at your
prospectus for any place in a company of mine.
Perhaps some third world company in Nigeria or maybe
the UN, so good luck and try and stay off the sauce,
dry out and maybe things will improve for you.
Signed
The owner, the American People.

Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, wouldn’t know a “hard choice” if it gave her a fetch upside the head. Herself has ALWAYS steered away from the “hard choice” and taken the easy way, going along to get along.

Herself went along while attending Wellesley, accepting the prevailing political thought (along with the Red diaper girls that went there) in the college years, and again when attending Yale law school, where Herself became a strong agitator in the anti-war movement, a wildly popular political position to take at the time. Once more, the easy way.

Then the internship in Washington, at about the time the Nixon impeachment proceedings were getting underway, Herself was eager to get on board as the “gung-ho” persecutor type, against a growingly unpopular President, to the degree that Nixon should not have even the least of Constitutional protections as a US citizen. This latter position was a little over the top even for the chief counsel of the House Judiciary Committee, as Herself was found to be colluding with Ted Kennedy’s Senatorial aides to undermine and destroy any possible defense that Nixon might raise, and was summarily dismissed from the employ of the legal staff.

Herself, disgraced in Washington by her excesses and legal high jinks, fled to Arkansas, where she married Bill Clinton a year later, and took a cinch position with Rose Law Firm, a base from which Herself and Bill could engineer relatively long-term control of the Arkansas state house, and also work a little financial magic, getting on the Wal-Mart corporate board and setting up the Whitewater land scheme, as well as parlaying some $1,000 into over $100,000 on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. No wrong-doing was ever proven, but there is suspicion that this was in part, some means of transferring graft money, as the position of Governor of Arkansas did not pay at all well and salary from the Rose Law Firm would not justify the speculation that went on.

Again, Herself got out of Arkansas ahead of any prosecutions that may have followed, and in a plurality election of 1992 (thanks to Ross Perot), Herself landed as First (or maybe Furtive) Lady of the US, from where Herself participated in the “co-Presidency”, still piggybacking on Bill’s coattails.

While the “co-Presidency” was wracked with a number of scandals, and even an impeachment of Bill (brought for the wrong reasons, and the most compelling reasons for dismissal from office were never presented to the US Senate), Herself swept from triumph to triumph, most notably the race for US Senate seat in New York State. Originally the race was between Herself and Rudy Giuliani, but Rudy was himself ridden by a number of personal scandals and problems, and withdrew from the race in favor of Rick Lazio, a Congressman from New York City. The lesser-known Lazio was trounced rather resoundingly, and Herself breezed through nearly eight years in the Senate, before turning her aim on the White House in her own right.

And again it looked like the way was easy and without real challenge when out of left field (literally), Herself had the race card played on her by an upstart and relative novice from Chicago, another product of a long series of “easy choices”, Barry Soetero, or whatever his name that shall finally be adopted in the history books.

Herself, shunned by the very liberal Democrat crowd she believed had her back the whole time, was further pushed aside when the Vice-Presidential selection was made, which passed to Joe Biden, a hack Senator from Delaware, remarkable in his mediocrity, but a perfect cover for the Current Occupant of the White Hut, as nobody would DARE to attempt an assassination of Barry, because that would then elevate Joe to the top place on the dogpile. If Herself had been chosen as Vice-President, well, there is strong suspicion that Arkancide might occur once again, and we can’t have that, can we.

As consolation prize, but mostly to keep Herself out of the way, the position of Secretary of State was offered, and eagerly snapped up. Technically subordinate to the Chief Executive, the Secretary of State job allowed wide discretion in judgment, much of which, in retrospect, turned out to be - not very good.

Recent events need not be rehashed. But we have come to questions of advancing age, and failing health, as well as rash and even seriously flawed judgment.

Where do we go, America?

What was Billary’s accomplishments at the State Department?

Hundreds of photo ops taken with Hillary posing with foreign dignitaries as if something more substantive than the photo op was taking place, but the photo op is all all of it was about - for show, for selling Hillary as if she was something she never was - a great diplomat.

From Europe to Asia to the Middle East there is nothing positive that Hillary can personally claim credit for. She was simply “present” and has the photo ops to prove it.

Whether she is elected to any office or not, she has already accomplished her goal - securing her retirement job of selling influence and access to paying foreign customers, just like the Bill portion of Billary.
