MSNBC’s Hayes: Some Conservative Beliefs Should Disqualify People From Public Office

On Tuesday’s All In, host Chris Hayes and his guests tackled a chilling and politically loaded subject: which beliefs should disqualify someone from holding public office. Among other things, the group decided that global warming “denialism,” opposition to same-sex marriage, and opposition to a “robust” Voting Rights Act should put a politician outside the mainstream and ruin their chances of holding public office.

Hayes seemed excited that politicians might be branded with a figurative scarlet letter for holding beliefs that run counter to his own far-left vision. In fact, he claimed the act of disqualification based on certain beliefs is a “tool of progress,” not something that “constrains consensus.” The host gloated:

yes, according to “progressives”, talking about the Constitution or anything in the Bill of Rights is the first sign of senility. You are obviously incapable of making decisions for yourself and myst be “helped”.

He’s right. Any politician holding such beliefs should be denied office in their country. It’s just that we’re not de facto in the same country. Nobody who voted for Obama in 2012 is my countryman. And I’m sure they feel the same way about me. So let’s get honest about it, admit that we have no business trying to share a polity with each other, and begin the process of splitting this thing up as peacefully as possible.

I am telling you, The inevitable end point of progressivism is totalitarianism. There is no other logical outcome of this malignant ideology. No stop mechanism, no self-correction, no point at which they will say "this is enough."

Like cancer, progressivism will grow, metastasize, and feed off the host until it is killed.

Modern liberals are truly fascist,as well as being misnamed — they don’t give a darn about liberty.

That would very expensive & a lot of bad PR . I suggest we opt for a domestic “Phoenix program”. Also before the GOPe types chime in ask yourself this “ Are the Democrats planning to “deal with” those who they hate by means of institutions /facilities for the care & custody of those who cannot cope with the new political realities ?

This was the mission statement of Dachau concentration camp in the late 30’s & is the attitude of the modern day Democrat party today & a lot of GOPe folks who will gladly smile & nod in agreement with the Democrats.

John Boehner & company need to be removed from positions of power before there can be any progress towards reestablishing a Constitutional Republic as opposed to a “Mussolini model” fascist oligarchy.

I'm currently of the opinion that a "Phoenix program” is currently in operation. Against us. Remember Andrew Breitbart.
