The IDF is recruiting youth with disabilities who would have been summarily rejected a couple of years ago. I think its a great program and it allows young people with disabilities to contribute to the country’s defense.
That was sure positive.
Great video but it gets kind of blurry towards the end...
I wonder what the Palestinian equivalent program is?
Instead of a beret do they get a vest?

Well, they strapped a bomb on a 13 year old with Downs and put him on bus to kill my wife, unborn son, and others.
His video beforehand was very sad. He knew he could never “have a woman,” so this was his only shot.
I have never really been angry at him.
In fact, I’ve prayed for him quite a bit.

This group is from Camp Kostopulos in Salt Lake City. Next week we are hosting the Hozhoni Foundation group from Flagstaff.
One would think that lots of people would be volunteering to help with some of these programs or at least make serious donations. Sadly it seems nobody really cares except the immediate families of these very nice individuals. We are happy to take the pressure off them if only for a couple of days.

The Hozhini group has some very good artists that come here. You would get a kick out of their unbridled friendliness and enthusiasm. Our relationship has given new perspective to certain tribal members as we seek areas on the south rim of the Grand Canyon for fine art workshops.
