May 15, 2014 11:05 AM Reid Backs Anti-Koch Constitutional Amendment By Andrew Johnson
In his latest Koch-binge tirade, Harry Reid voiced support for a constitutional amendment brought forward by two other Democratic senators to reverse the Supreme Courts Citizens United v. FEC decision, which would allow Congress to limit campaign contributions.
Lets keep our elections from becoming speculative ventures for the wealthy, and put a stop to the hostile takeover to our democratic process by a couple of billionaire oil barons, he said on the Senate floor on Thursday.
Introduced by Michael Bennet of Colorado and Tom Udall of New Mexico, Reid called on his colleagues to support the amendment, for which the Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing.
During his remarks, Reid revisited many of his favorite tropes against the Kochs, and criticized the brothers father, Fred C. Koch, for his role in the founding of the John Birch Society.
There is absolutely no question the Koch brothers in a category of their own no one else is pumping into shadowy campaign organizations or campaigns like they are, he said. There isnt even a close second.
He is deranged............
I Back an Anti-Reid Constitutional Amendment!
So Harry Reid wants to cut off funds for democrats from George Soros...
They want to go back to the days when the labor unions could legally funnel millions to democrats but non-labor union PACs were limited in what they could do to support other candidates.
I’d like to go back to the days when we tarred and feathered tyrants.
The Koch brothers and others earned their money legally in the marketplace.
The real question is how did Harry Reid amass a multi-million dollar fortune on a senator's salary?
I’d like to see the Koch Bros. tag team Reid’s ignorant, greedy @$$.
Democrat Harry Reid strategy: divert voter attention away from everything to this meaningless campaign.
Drones will be next.
But it’s settled law... Right?
He is not deranged but a hard core communists criminal Democrat the has the total protection from the King Obama communists controlling Administration. This communists empire owns America and nothing can be done unless King Obama is impeached and his empire is cleaned out.
By the way, miss Romney yet? This was our only chance to stop the communists takeover of America.
“But Let’s Keep Those Union-Dues Flowing In To The DemonRats”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“By the way, miss Romney yet? This was our only chance to stop the communists takeover of America.”
Did you really say that? Miss McCain yet? Miss Dole yet? Good grief.
The RATS never talk about their big donors, George Soros, teacher unions etc. and how about that dude that’s giving 100 million to stop the pipe line? Harry Reid and the rest of the corrupt RAT thugs belong in jail.
When we talk about Soros we’re nuts.
When they talk about Koch they’re just being reasonable.
Harry Reid is wifty!
Go back to the reaction to the anti-flag-burning amendment.
The lefties cleverly talked about abridging the First Amendment and changing the Bill of Rights. The EXACT SAME ground is covered here.
No use explaining it again and again. If it is beyond your comprehension then live in your small world and enjoy King Obama empire.
Probably get shot by the EPA for mis-use of petroleum derivatives.
With his talk of amending the Constitution, corrupt Reid is blowing hot air to impress his low-information supporters, just as Obama makes many constitutionally indefensible executive orders to make himself look like a king issuing edicts in the eyes of low-information voters.
More specifically, regardless that Reid is wrapping himself in the flag with his talk of amending the Constitution, the corrupt federal government cannot afford for citizens to find out the following. Only the states, not the federal government, have the constitutional Article V power to ratify proposed amendments to the Constitution. And if low-information citizens were to learn that then they would ultimately wise up to the fact that the states not only have absolute control over what the Constitution says, but also absolute control over the federal government, including federal taxes.
They're not even in the top 20 you IDIOT!
