If he wants to make executive departments more energy efficient, he simply needs to order all federal buildings to shut off the air conditioning which, by the way, they were prohibited from having until about 1980.

It’s bad enough that American taxpayers have been repeatedly fleeced by President Obama’s many failed “green” projects, now the commander-in-chief is dedicating an extra $2 billion—on top of $2 billion already dispersed in 2011—to make federal buildings in the United States energy efficient. A billion here, a billion there, and before you know it we're talkin about real money.

Give ALL the occupants of around 2/3 of ALL the federal “rest homes” PINK SLIPS, shut off the utilities, padlock the doors and put up a “For Sale” sign out front.
