Jeb Bush hasn’t announced whether he’s decided to run for president in 2016, but the former Florida governor has promised that if he does he will strive to govern like former Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson. Speaking at Saint Leo University in San Antonio, Fla., the Republican praised Mr. Johnson last February, not for his “Great Society” programs that conservatives blame for significantly expanding the size and scope of the federal government, but for his forceful, hands-on leadership, The Miami Herald reported at the time.

According to LBJ’s longtime mistress (what I heard in an interview on a Lubbock talk radio show about 1990) LBJ had people killed, but he was still a good man because it was “just business”. She inferred he was also involved in Bobby Kennedy’s assassination. Guess the NSA will be used for more than just spying if he gets to be Prez.

Certainly one of the top five, but the competition has been getting rather keen lately to give him the top spot.
What, stealing elections by voting those in cemeteries?
What, support an immigration policy that deliberately changes the purposes of an immigration policy, while pretending something very different?
What, intruding the Government into all sorts of activities, not even mentioned by category in the list of functions granted to that Government by the Constitution?
I will even ignore the fact that the widow of the President he replaced, appears to have gone to her grave believing that he was implicated in her husband's murder!
If this makes Jeb more acceptable to the Republican base, the future of the party is hopeless, indeed.

If Jeb thinks promoting LBJ will get him both Democrat and Republican votes, he is smoking weed. This is beyond RINO...at least G W was a Christian, who was tied up with the NWO (family) and did some good to slow down the tide that was coming anyway. However Jeb has no redeeming qualities for being President.
Please no more Republican "compassionate" versions of Obama and the Dems.

Well the “Fast Bastard” spectaculary self destructed for them, so now they are picking the “Fat Bush-whacker” to run against Hillary because they need a Fatass to make Hillary’s fat canckles look normal....
LBJ was probably the most harmful president of them all.
He was just as corrupt as Obama, just as liberal as Clinton and just as much a jackass as Carter. The worst part is he combined total corruption with the ability to get things done.
Maybe the worst thing of all was the Gun Control Act of 1968. It was an extremely harsh law and we still suffer from it. Some parts have been repealed but it still allows people like Obama to oppress gun owners.
He also got the Civil Rights act passed which was a near takeover of the country by the Federal Government.
An author that wrote an authorized biography of LBJ and conducted extensive interviews at his ranch, claimed that LBJ had a picture on his coffee table, with LBJ and an unknown man. When he asked LBJ who it was, LBJ just smiled.
After LBJ died, the the precinct captain responsible for the fraud made a public announcement about his role. The author (mentioned above) says it was the man in the picture on LBJ's coffee table.
And yet another reason NOT to vote for Bush 3.0.

The more we learn I think it was GW’s ineptness that spared us a bit and the fact that he had at least some conservatives on his staff, granted it may have better to have had Gore and then after Gore nmishandled things after 9/11 we might have had a chance to get a true conservative...
But hindsight is always 20/10
Is this the Jeb Bush who failed to act as Terri Schiavo was murdered by judicial fiat? Yeah, I thought so.
I hope he has nightmares every time he sleeps.
He needs to repent.
I am no fan of WW-—the founder of modern American progressivism-—along with TR.
But my comment transcended ideology. LBJ was truly a low life beyond imagination. A man with the same character flaws as Al Capone, Joseph Kennedy Sr.,... a true gangster, a corrupt politician through and through with absolutely no redeemable qualities. A vile and crude man without any scruples whatsoever. From the foul language he used. The way he stole elections. Notorious philanderer. A bully. A man who as president received people while sitting on the can. It is impossible to get lower than LBJ. Even Hitler carried himself with more grace and dignity than LBJ.
Another good reason that voters should tell this loser to take a hike.
