seven months in prison

Watergate was nothing.

The entire Obama administration deserves years in the big house for their treason and crimes against humanity.

I remember those days very very well. Watergate was the media’s dream come true and they played it for all it was worth and more.

Everyone ignores the reason they tried to burglarize the offices. They were sure the Democrats were committing treason and wanted proof.

Watergate remains the left’s golden grail, yet when their heroes and fellow travelers do the real things Nixon was accused of, the media parties on.

The one thing I never understood about the media’s hatred of Nixon was that he was not even that conservative.

He was anti-Cummunist but that is about it. He did try to appoint some conservatives to the supreme court but the left blocked him for the most part.

The one thing I never understood about the media’s hatred of Nixon was that he was not even that conservative.

He defeated a left-wing congresswoman in 1948 to claim a seat in the House. They hated him for that, and never forgave him.

Once in the House, he went after communists in the government without reservation or apology.

They hated him for that too.

He was anti-Cummunist (sic)

That was more than enough to unleash the media dogs off on him.

Yeah being against Communism probably was enough.

I remember someone saying, “scratch a liberal, and underneath you will find pure red”.

Watergate pales compared to what is going on today.

This business with Carl Levin and the IRS is worse than anything I know of during the Nixon administration, because as far as I’m concerned, it may go higher than Carl Levin.

I’m only mildly sad he was caught. More like annoyed.

LBJ did the same thing using Hoover.

Did Magruder later turn “Democrat”?

People in MI will always believe whatever Carl Levin says, but they don’t know why.

Watergate was a John Dean operation to retrieve the DNC’s black book of hookers. It included the name of his then girlfriend who he later married.

I saw a TV show with Bill Curtis doing an investigation on Watergate. His conclusion was that the Watergate Burglars were after a little black book in one of the offices of the Democrat headquarters, that had the names of some 'escorts' in it. One of those names supposedly was "Mo", then girlfriend, later wife, of John Dean, who supposedly sent the burglars on their mission, so she wouldn't be embarrassed by being exposed.

Nixon used the IRS out of Dothan, Alabama to get George Wallace. They got him too. Actually Wallace had not accepted any bribes but his friends and relatives did.

Then all of a sudden they were ordered to drop the case.
