Some of the guns were not worth what they were paid for them.
Others worth a lot more to bad the ones that had guns worth more took a lower price for them.
If my understanding that the private buyers in the area brought guns.
Saving fine firearms from the ravages of political correctness.

I love that quote from an obviously ignorant gun owner. No, no one NEEDS a gun in the house...
(until they do, that is).
I wonder if he is willing to post sign in his yard now that says "This house has no guns in it."?
Before I moved to California in Feb. 1964, I lived on the north side of Milwaukee.
It wasn’t safe then........
Wouldn’t move back if it was the past place in America.
“But the whole point of this is to provide anonymity.”
I wouldn’t trust that, but if it is true, criminals must try hard not to laugh when police pay them to launder the guns they stole and/or used in crimes. This program seems to abet and even incentivize crime.
by announcing it in the newspaper...he just did
Several years ago dealers brought 55 gallon drums full of guns to shows and sold them for a few dollars with the intention buyers could take them to gun “buy-backs.” (The dealer’s objective was to deplete the “buy-back” funds.) They were black powder guns made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and probably originally sold for a dollar. The ones I saw chambered modern calibers but they were made from pot metal. I explained this to my neighbor’s kids and their buddies, all of whom were carrying these hand grenades not realizing what they were. One would hope that these are the guns they’re “buying-back.”
Ping!
I wonder if they will pay $100 for a homemade zip gun?
You can assemble one in a few minutes using less than $20 in parts from your local hardware store. There are how to videos on YouTube.
I t seems to me the operation was a constitutionally prohibited alliance of church and state. The state used a church to run government operations
Not sure but I did see where some private “dealer” bought one of the guns before it made it to the so called “buy back”. He would have gotten $50.00 at the “buy back” but the private “dealer” gave him $150.00 for his “silver” gun. Guess the price of scrap silver must be up these days. But at least a lot of people “felt” better cause they “did” something. (Still not sure what buy “back” means if you never owned it in the first place.)
So, there should be a decrease in violence in the north Milwaukee area over the next several weeks, and the newspapers will accurately report the results, because that’s what would happen in a sane world, right?
Nice graphic, consider it stolen...
I consider it RE-stolen. :)
A picture is worth 1,000 words...
Yes, the sheeple don’t understand what is going on.
