RNC chair on Hillary: 'I actually doubt very much whether she actually will run'

In what most political observers would say is some wildly wishful thinking, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said on Sunday that he doesn't believe Hillary Clinton will run for president in 2016.

"Given the month she just had, I actually doubt very much whether she actually will run for president in 2016," Priebus said on "Meet The Press." "I know a lot of people around her want her to run. And I think that they're purposely creating this environment [of inevitability] around her."

Priebus said he believes questions surrounding Clinton's health recently raised by Republican strategist Karl Rove, coupled with lingering questions about the attacks in Benghazi and her record as secretary of state will make her think twice about running for president.

"I don't think there's a graceful way to bring up age, health and fitness for a candidate that wants to be president of the United States," Priebus said. "I think the more important issue for me, as leader of this party, is, what's the record of Hillary Clinton? What was her record as a secretary of state? Benghazi, Boko Haram, Syria, Russia. Those are going to be the issues that I believe will cause her to rethink whether she actually wants to run for president.

I don’t think she wants to campaign, but she does want to be President.

Becoming a grandmother will take her out of the running.

She already is running. What a maroon

He’ll spend more of everything fighting Ted Cruz who’ll ignore him and go ahead and run against Hillary, the only candidate they have

He’ll look up from his golf game long enough to know when he’s being dissed by Cruz and to schmooze with the Chamber of commerce paying him what he thinks he’s worth. However, that chamber if commerce will be just as happy to dump him and go for Hillary

Agree. She has no record to run on. Her only assets are her sex and she married Bill. Woopee.

You think she’s more maternal than power hungry?

I’ve seen msm reporting where they talk disparigingly about priebus saying Clinton’s age is a factor. and that’s funny, because I remember those same people talking about bob doles age ad nauseum.

I think she needs to put up a credible campaign but that she knows that chances of winning are against her.

That is not the issue - the issue is maintaining the Clinton strangle hold on power by maintaining their Mr/Ms Insider/Outsider status to keep Clinton Political - Industrial power base alive.

From 1992-2000 Bill was press and after that Hillary was a Senator and a Sec of State.

Now they have everyone enthralled at the inevitability (in some minds) of a Bill/Hill twofer return to the White House. This keeps the scam going until the 2016 elections as Hillary as defacto President in Waiting

After 2016 , both Bill and Hill will be pushing 70 and if they lose they can always run Chelsy to make sure they have a seat of power to work from

I don’t put anything past Hillary, including cosmetic surgery, adopting Obambi’s telepromptor, or proficiency to spin, parse, and lie. I bet she runs. Her ego is too big to let her just fade away.

Well, if the GOP can't get that message out between now and the 2016 elections, they need to be run out of town on a rail. The GOP needs to grow a pair, take off the kidd gloves, and start getting a conservative message out. In my mind, the primary message should be: Washington thinks they know how to spend YOUR money better than YOU do.

A gal on PJTV interviewed college kids who are totally in the tank for Hillary.

The only one who could name a single thing she had done as SOS said that her handling of Benghazi was the highlight of her career.

I’ve seen interviews with Karl Rove in which he’s spoken in some detail about Hillary’s health issues, but I have not heard him say the words “brain Damage.” Did he use that term at some point, or is this just another example of the Democrats and their allies in the media twisting someone’s words around to try to discredit them?

Perhaps so. Unfortunately, that may very well be enough for her to both run and win on.

I don't think she'll run either.

I noticed that as soon as the obamacare debacle hit the news she stepped forward. She's holding the place in the media on behalf of Dems so the awful Obamacare headlines don't dominate and erode socialized medicine further.

I think behind the scenes they're getting their new socialist nominee ready.
