Uh, if they’re accepting homosexual marriage they’re not conservatives.

Bingo! Rather crazy when India elects pro-marriage candidates in a landslide while America slips into backwardness.

This could mean one of two things

(1) he truly doesn’t care (which is wrong)
(2) he doesn’t want to let it become a sideshow (might or might not be wise)

It could well be succeeding in digging its own grave, in which case it’s legitimate to ask: why interfere.

True, and given the way too clever statement on Scott Walker's part where he doesn't state they are wrong and/or takes a strong and continuing stand against Homo Marriage, it raises some big fat question marks where Scott Walker is concerned.

It's an attempt by pseudo-conservatives to redefine Conservatism, so as to dilute it and make it less of a threat to the Left.

You don’t think that “It’s for the Children” meant something beyond “We are coming for your Children”, do you?

So we get to the real problem. NATIONAL BASED EDUCATION aka/liberal indoctrination. If that can’t be stopped cold and the power to educate returned to local control, there is no battle to fight. The war is over except for the burying and crying.

Rob Portman thinks his son can have the same stablity that a heterosexual marriage can provide? Talk about delusional.

We may think that, but many who are college and young adult aged consider themselves conservatives on economic issues, but more libertarian on the moral issues. They may be pro-life, but they just don't see homosexual marriage as a threat to them. Unfortunately, they've grown up seeing marriage diminished by heterosexuals, so they don't see how homosexuals can do any more damage.
