You can kill anybody and claim mistaken identity. People first spread rumors and hatred and then claim mistaken identity. And now we should absolve them because they are good Christians and others are horrible because they are Hindus.
In the case of the Sikhs w/ turbans, of course they were mistaken identity. Who is “absolving” them?
