My ancestor got a warning, and he fled south to Virginia with his wife and 5 young daughters. He had a distant cousin in Virginia, who helped he and his family to relocated. That distant cousin had 5 sons, who later married the 5 daughters of the fleeing cousin. They had the same last name, and that screwed up genealogists for over two hundred years.
Later after the war, those, who wrote and signed the articles of Discontent were considered as the first Americans revolutionaries by our new country.
