Obama criticizes Republicans for focusing on Benghazi, Obamacare

WASHINGTON, May 19 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama chastised his Republican opponents on Monday for focusing criticism on the events surrounding the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, and on his signature healthcare law.

"The debate we're having now is about what, Benghazi? Obamacare? And it becomes this endless loop. It's not serious. It's not speaking to the real concerns that people have," Obama said.

He was speaking to more than 60 people at a fundraising dinner for Democratic candidates for the House of Representatives.

The event took place at a physician's home in the Washington suburb of Potomac, Maryland, as Obama seeks to persuade Democrats to organize for a voter turnout effort to prevent Republicans from ousting Democrats from control of the Senate and from building on their majority in the House.

Republicans in the House have begun a new investigation of the deaths of the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and three other Americans during a militant attack on Sept. 11, 2012.

Well, if he’s done anything better - that hasn’t hurt the country or our economy or our allies, then maybe he’s got a good point. It would be unkind to always talk about all the bad things he’s done if he’s done anything good to talk about. Wouldn’t it?

And this is supposed to be the lefts great orator! LOL What a crock. Everything out of his mouth is pre-programmed left wing boiler point.

It's worse than gobbledygook. Can we still say that or is gobbledygook racist?

Guy’s been whining about an ex-president who’s been out of office for six years and now he expects us not to go after him for things that happened quite recently and have his fingerprints all over them?

Obama might as just well say that he doesn’t care about Americans and just make it official. Everybody with half a brain knows it by now

At least for ObamaCare, we need to emphasize repeatedly that ObamaCare kills jobs, and to help the economy recover we have to get that terrible law out of the way.

How’s he going to feel if Trey Gowdy throws a subpoena his way? Bet he won’t like that one dam*ed bit. I hope Gowdy does issue one to that sack of human effluent.

Didn’t Obama spend 2 years forcing Obamacare down our throats? Why is it ok for him, but not for anyone else?

Does he mean instead of focusing on all of his successes, the way Democrats always focus on Republican successes during a campaign year?

Now, which successes does he want the Republicans to focus on? Let’s start a list:

1. .....

(wait, I’m thinking)

1. ....

(still thinking. hold on a second)

1. ....

(umm, give me another minute)

Oh, wait, they ARE his successes.

I guess the Republicans should just advertise what a great guy he is, the great unifier, the best president ever, which is great, because he’s our first black president and that proves we’re no longer a racist nation.

I’d criticize them too if they weren’t including the IRS crimes in that rap sheet.
