Charleston County deputies say eight students have been arrested after they were caught on surveillance video throwing rocks and food at passing cars while on their school bus.
According to an incident report, Durham Bus Services notified Septima Clark Academy that several students on bus 529 threw items at a passing vehicles on May 8, causing damage to a truck. Officers arrived on the scene to find a dent on victim's passenger side roof/window area and "food splashed across the grill, hood, and windshield."
Deputies say none of the students on the bus admitted to throwing things at the truck.
Officers say surveillance footage from two of the bus' three security cameras revealed which students were involved in the incident.
The report states 17-year-old Kayla Gilliard was spotted getting on the bus with a "pizza box full of rocks," while a 16-year-old female student brought a "bag of food items." Multiple students on the bus then reportedly began to yell profanities at their 78-year-old bus driver as he tried to give them instructions.
The 16-year-old student is allegedly heard on video saying she was going to "chop some cars," and to wait until they got on the interstate. Surveillance footage then shows 17-year-old Akeele Simmons use Wite-Out correction fluid to cover the lens of one of the bus' three security cameras.

YUP! All of them were extremely Amish, and throwing these items made them boisterous and use one type of word very many times.

In some states, throwing objects, including snowballs, let alone rocks, at a moving vehicle is a felony.
Amish yutes.
Apparently 8 of the 9 arrested were charged as adults.
I think that even in Calif. throwing any object at a moving car is a felony.

I can’t say that in my days as a public school bus rider, I didn’t throw things out of the bus window.
I rode a bus for 10 of my 12 years. I don’t recall anyone ever throwing anything at a vehicle. I guess it is possible that someone threw an orange peel or something like that out of a window but I don’t recall it.
Ah ha. More of them Amish “teens”, I see.
I hope that none are on any kind of free lunch, breakfast or food benefit program, because they obviously don’t need the food if they can afford to throw it out the window.
