Nearly 1,700 pounds of heroin was smuggled into the Netherlands last week hidden in a shipment of Iranian raisins, Dutch police investigators said Monday. The heroin, valued at about $23 million, ........ Iran is a major transit point for heroin from Afghanistan. Iran also is believed to be the world’s third-largest exporter of raisins, behind Turkey and the United States.

The only countries intercepting these shipments have been Australia and the Netherlands.

I suspect they seized the raisins and let the heroin go to its destination.
