On March 24, Towson University won the 2014 Cross Examination Debate Association’s national championship. Towson defeated the University of Oklahoma. What was Towson’s strategy? Inexplicably using the N-word over and over again in an incomprehensible tirade.
Here is an actual excerpt (with profanity redacted). See if you are able to tell what Towson is arguing in favor or against:

Again, this is a national championship. The organization that holds the debate was founded over 40 years ago and has held national debate tournaments for decades.

LOL..he’s talking about how the black man can’t survive thanks to the white man’s affirmative action and quotas for having black/minority employees.
It is not a hoax. The judges in a debate are the audience. Debate has been turned into a black beatnick open mic event at most colleges.

They probably won because after they spoke, the other team admitted that they couldn’t understand a word they said so they had no rebuttal.
The judge’s were terrified if they didn’t let them win they would be labeled “racist” because N-words have a civil right to use the N-word.

I actually scrolled back up to see if John Semmens was at it again.
But after delving into the what constitutes modern debate formulas, that kind of speed-talking is now common. Nobody outside the debate fraternity can understand anything anything modern college debaters say. There have been documentaries done about the speed talkers and articles written. Most outside views have been negative. But the modern debate coaches and teams defend the style saying the judges understand what the debaters are saying.
I find the whole thing a load of gibberish. It doesn't matter whether modern debate teams can compress far more facts in their arguments than old style debaters, it totally destroys the meaning of a real debate. It's not debate as most Americans know it, it's a sort of freak show. Some have described it as a parlor trick. The style can never be used outside college debate contests. This is what high level education has come down to...parlor tricks.
Is it the student’s fault that the judges were a bunch of white guilt ridden, politically correct cowards? As far as I am concerned they analyzed the system and exploited its flaws.
As to your point about diplomas I agree. A degree granted by the ideological brethren of these judges isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.
