Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza has struck a deal with prosecutors over charges he used straw donors to give $15,000 more to a U.S. Senate campaign than is allowed under campaign finance laws, authorities said Tuesday.

I never could understand what his defense was. He made donations through others to get around the limits. He never denied that. His whole defense was that he was an Obama critic and was being persecuted. I don’t have much sympathy for that argument.
Me neither. Liberals do this all the time. But he - like all conservatives - are under 24/7 watch and one mistake....

This is why I sense down the road a breaking point in this country, we are so badly is divided.
The law is unconstitutional. I don’t care how much he gave, and it is true that this is political selective enforcement. Obamalini is just the face of an enormous criminal enterprise that violates any law it finds inconvenient with impunity.
When are conservatives going to acknowledge that the entire federal government is lawless and withhold compliance in every way possible?

Me niether, Obama was gunning for him, fairness and equity be damned. Selective enforcement is what Obama is all about.
Obama took foreign contribs through his web site that only needed a Credit Card number and you could even use a pre-paid Credit Card to donate creating a way to pay cash for pre-paid Credit cards then donate back effectively bypassing any “pesky election laws” that the dims love to use as a tool against their opponents..
Romney’s site almost needed enough info to sign up for obama care to contribute....

His film was contribution enough, he didn’t need to give any more...
He wanted to help out even more and only in american can one get penalized for doing what one thinks is right...
At least ALL of Dinesh’s money came from his own effort, and not some commie chinese donor like Old Hag Cankles McGee otherwise know as Hillary Cinton....
Who squealed on Dinesh? His ex-wife? I can’t see how the Federales found out unless someone ratted him out. I am sure Democrats do this all the time.
Remember how the Obama campaign has twice 2018-2012 set up a donation site that does no checking where the gift card or credit card donation is coming from. Foreigners cannot contribute to US campaigns but there was no Obama-site blocking of foreign IP addresses. The donation software has this ability but was used. What sleaze. Never prosecuted of course!
Millions and million came in this way. I could buy a thousand $100 gift cards and contribute this way. Just use a mix of computers such as public computers and Starbucks wifi, Panera wifi and so on
Or one computer, a proxy service, and a few scripts.
Your way is better and faster. The scripts automate the donation process? I could pay a high school kid to write such a script?
I betcha the wife’s divorce lawyer scowering bank account noted 10k transaction’s.asked party to explain and couldn’t lie to an officer of the court..
On the other hand the TREASURY could have asked documentation on 10k transaction which is automatically flagged.Voila can’t lie to Government so DONORS fess up reluctantly..
