1 killed, 10 wounded in Wednesday gun violence

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man was killed and at least ten other people were wounded in citywide shootings Wednesday.

The fatal shooting happened about 12:25 p.m. in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Two men, ages 38 and 40, were shot in the chest in the 700 block of North Springfield Avenue, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
