The disgrace is that the MSM ran with that ball, foisted it as a major issue during the 2008 election, and then DROPPED it as soon as he was elected. In other words, this topic like so many others, was really just an election promise, not really an issue to be addressed. And the media let him get away with it.
The reason the media is covering it now, with such vigor, is that they are hoping your average low info voter doesn’t remember their nightly news casts with the number of service members killed or their salivating over Cindy Sheehan on a DAILY basis or the fact that they dropped ALL that anti-war rhetoric as soon as Obama was elected!
The saddest part, they will probably succeed in deceiving most of the low info voters!
