The dog is smarter than most voters.
That’s cute. So when the owner tells the dog treat is from Obama, he won’t eat it, not even after repeated offerings. The Lib responders were furious. No funny bone at all.
That reminds me of a few Halloweens back, the was a photo of a little blond toddler sitting in a grocery cart, when somebody shoved a Halloween Mask of Obama in front of the child, who promptly broke down in trembling, clench fisted tears of horror!

Not to suggest the canine wouldn’t react to voice commands.
Contrary to that old Far Side cartoon, “blah blah blah GINGER! blah blah blah,” dogs do have a vocabulary of understood words independent of tone of voice, hand signals and the like. They’ll eventually even figure out the meaning of words spelled out to avoid bedlam if it’s something they love to do. R-I-D-E, G-O, O-U-T, it only works for so long before the meaning of the new set of sounds are connected, and bedlam ensues once again when overheard.
To any that I may have offended or irritated or taken the joy from I apologize, and I do realize that sometimes it is better to not understand how the Avatar does the magic. It is still great that they trained the dog that well, mine would never be able to do that .
