Big Tea Party Bucks Come in for McDaniel in Mississippi
Breitbart ^ | 5/21/2014 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 05/21/2014 5:06:53 PM PDT by Viennacon

Two major conservative groups are dropping more than half a million dollars into ad buys in Mississippi, two weeks ahead of the June 3 election, to give state Sen. Chris McDaniel an extra boost over six-term incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) in the primary.

Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund is spending $400,000 on a new ad buy over television and radio and Citizens United Political Victory Fund is dropping $175,000 on a new television buy in the state, they both announced Wednesday.

“What happened to Thad Cochran?” the TPPCF television ad’s narrator asks viewers. “He’s voted to increase the national debt 24 times. That’s $58,000 per person. He said he opposes Obamacare, but he accepts a special exemption for himself and his staff. He even voted with Harry Reid to make amnesty for illegal immigrants possible. What happened to Thad Cochran? He’s forgotten our Mississippi values.”

That ad is set to be broadcast on television between now and election day June 3. The Tea Party group has also released a 60-second radio spot to run during that time too, according to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger report on the ads.

Citizens United Political Victory Fund’s television ad focuses on how long Cochran’s been in Washington. “Thad Cochran: Forty-one years in Washington,” a narrator says in that ad. “How are things working out for you? More spending… More debt… More government… Less freedom. To change Washington, let’s change the leaders we send to Washington. Chris McDaniel. A bold conservative leader who will raise Mississippi’s voice and join Senators like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to balance the budget, stop Obamacare, and restore our God-given liberty. Vote Chris McDaniel.”

I am sick of being attacked by the Establishment and their gloating after their massively well-funded candidates win primaries!

LET'S CRUSH MITCH MCCONNELL AND THE ESTABLISHMENT IN MISSISSIPPI!!!!

Chris McDaniel is a rock solid conservative. This guy will stand alongside Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in taking on Obama, the Dems, and the RINOs.

Phone bank, donate, tell your friends. 2014 is the year we send Thad Cochran packing and elect a true conservative to the senate.

Good news!

I’ve been hearing Cochran’s ads claiming he’s a Conservative yet the one that’s really laughable is the one that promotes his funding for KAtrina aid tho not mentioning that Aid was full of unrelated spending...I would love to see McDAniel run ads detailing all of that unrelated spending Cochran voted for.

I really think for November Republicans should run non stop commercials asking, “What is Agenda 21?”. Then in every debate, on every commercial, accuse the rat of supporting agenda 21.

Indeed-—let’s pony up for McDaniel. Let’s not let the despicable DimocRAT-like tactics of the GOPe succeed.

They should go after Haley Barbour and his pandering to Mexico.

When 2 groups go to war against each other like this, it is not a party. Time to form a party of people we agree with, not join with people who hate us and do all they can to defeat our causes.

...and their gloating after their massively well-funded candidates win primaries

The establishment claiming victory is like Hitler claiming victory after taking Norway. Sure he "won", but lost enough ships that he could not mount a sea invasion of Britain. The establishment is on its heals so worried about incumbents that in open seats the TEA Party is doing very well. This fact combined with the occasional pick-off of a stale incumbent like Cochran, and eventually the Tea Party wins the war.

Chris McDaniel is a rock solid conservative

Then he'll probably win if he doesn't screw up, and also has a positive message about how he's better for Mississippi than is Cochran.

I look at the results of the primaries and interpret things differently. It isn't the "tea party" label that makes a difference. It's that people will vote for the conservative, if the conservative is BETTER than the status quo. Nobody shifts gears unless they see the challenger as a clear and obvious improvement.

I’ll take it a step farther and say: “Let’s crush Mitch McConnel in the General Election in Kentucky this November. If Bevin would have won the GOP Primary in KY this past Tues. night, I guarantee you the GOP Establishment would give money and their votes to Grimes.

I’m not dissing MS folks because the same holds true for people in all 50 States. An ad like that would be a waste of money because 95 percent of the people who see the Ad either don’t have a clue or don’t care or both.

I agree and offer the following two suggestions:

The Conservative Party of America
or
The Patriot Party
