I lived in Salinas back in the early-mid 60’s. Used to be a nice town.
Since Salinas is ground-zero of the central valley illegal alien population, I will hazard to speculate that this riot was orchestrated largely if not exclusively by “immigration activist” groups.

Well goody we get the RT take on what no doubt was really nasty violence in Salinas. They is a large ILLEGAL community there and a gang infestation that is astonishing. Until we know more, because of where ir occurred, I will not jump to conclusions.

This clearly shows the difference between California and Arizona.
In AZ, if someone says the police shot an armed robber, the appropriate response is, “Did anyone get hurt?” The robber doesn’t count. If he was such a damned fool as to commit an armed robbery in Arizona, of all places, he was either a transient, not from there, or he was so nuts that he didn’t care that people were shooting at him.
It really doesn’t matter if a civilian or a cop shot him, because he was an armed robber. Nobody gives two hoots if “his momma loved him”, “he was a good boy”, or “he was getting his life together”, for the simple reason that no he wasn’t, because he was an armed robber.
And now he is a shot armed robber. If he doesn’t die, it’s only because who ever shot him didn’t do it right, or enough.

Probably in the back of these officer’s minds was that on Monday night 30 miles down Hwy 101 an officer did not shoot and ended up being Life Flighted up to a Santa Clara County trauma center
SOLEDAD, Calif. —A Soledad police sergeant was stabbed Monday while attempting to save an elderly couple whose grandson had gone on a violent spree.
Soledad Police Chief Eric Sills said a 17-year-old boy stabbed his grandmother, grandfather and Sgt. Thomas Marchese. Marchese is a 10-year veteran of the police force.
The melee happened inside a house on Second Street. At 3:30 p.m., someone at the house called 911. Dispatchers said they heard screaming in the background during the call.
“When they got here they heard people inside screaming and saying, ‘Hurry! Get inside! Help! Help! Help!’” said Soledad Police Chief Eric Sills
The sergeant was the first officer to enter the building and he was immediately stabbed multiple times by the grandson, Sills said.
“He was in good shape, obviously in some pain which would be normal, but he was in good spirits,” said Sills.
The grandmother and grandfather were found lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
The woman was suffering from blunt trauma to the back of her head, and the man had stab wounds in his back.
Police shot the teenager with a Taser, but the Taser did not have an effect, Sills said.
Officers then wrestled the teenager to the ground. The teen was hogtied, bound by his hands and legs, and carried face-down into a patrol car.
Several children watched the tense incident unfold from across the street.
“I talked to them all the time, they’re nice people,” said Alejandro Morales, who lives across the street.
“This is crazy, nothing like this has ever happened here,” said another neighbor, Stephani Ponci.
Sergeant Marchese was flown by air ambulance to a Bay Area trauma center where he was treated for several stab wounds to the upper torso and shoulder.
He was released from the hospital and is recuperating at home.
The elderly female victim was flown to a Fresno area trauma center where she remains in serious condition with severe injuries to the head.
The elderly male victim was flown to a Bay Area trauma center where he was listed in serious condition with multiple stab wounds to his back and chest.
KSBW knows the name of the 17-year old suspect, but is not releasing it because he is a minor.
He was flown by air ambulance to a Bay Area Trauma center where he was treated and admitted for observations of injuries sustained during the struggle. Upon his release, he will be booked into the Monterey County Juvenile Hall for Attempted Murder of a Police Officer and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Backup law enforcement was called in from the Greenfield Police Department, Gonzalez Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.
Salinas was the scene for Steinbeck’s “Grapes of Wrath” and already back then it was LOADED with illegals.
Now Salinas is about 90% Mexican, and probably about 70% illegal.
Nearby is Monterey, where there is Carmel, Pebble Beach, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and EVERY night we hear on the radio about some type of shooting or stabbing in Salinas or Greenfield.
In nearby King City they are replacing 70% of the Police Department, who are all Mexican in every way but on a piece of paper, where the cops were stealing/impounding cars and reselling them for tidy profits.
The police chief literally took one of those cars and turned it into a police LOW-RIDER —sounds made-up, right?
What I saw in the clip was basically Mexican cops shooting a Mexican, and then getting showered with invective by a Mexican camera phone holder.
