Frankly, I think most “people of color” respect us more when we don’t try to play this game. I just go about my business and take people on a case-by-case basis. And I don’t even try to pretend I like everyone. I don’t. I try to be polite and respectful to everyone but that’s it till I get to know them.

LOL... I just went to Buzzfeed and took the "Privilege Quiz". I only got 23 out of 100 and scored "underprivileged." Apparently most of what they call White Privilege is just spending your life amongst mostly white people and never knowing poverty.

But I haven't had that life and I'd bet a LOT of white people haven't. I grew up poor and joined the military. Now I work in the inner city. Yes, I've been called "the white girl," yes, I've had people want to touch my hair, yes I've had to be afraid to walk alone places. Yes I rode the bus, for years, yes I've been in debt, no, my parents couldn't help me... that is LIFE for pete's sake.

Small staff for that size of grants, but then professional hatemongers, like many grifters, do tend to pull in the coin, don't they? Let's examine these creatures:

Robin Parker, director. Smile nice for the marks, Robin. Since 1994 - 20 years, really? - Parker has made a living off "bias crime" in the state of New Jersey. Statistics for racial bias crime are available for New Jersey HERE. These appear to be just after Parker's tenure. Note the disparity between black and white victims, roughly 8-10:1 black versus white. There may actually be a few people credulous enough to believe this.

Pamela Smith Chambers, Training Director. She's been at the "fairness" game since 1987. Degrees in English and Counseling. Co-author of the work cited below.

Nancy Mamis-King, Research and Development Director. Masters in Social Work. Been at the game since 1963.

What might you see in one of these workshops if you can read through the tears of shame? Well, there's this:

And this:

Oh, but wait, there's more:

These are the people who are tearing the country apart and profiting handsomely from it, and it is they who are responsible for one of the most disgustingly racist screeds since Martin Bormann was pounding them out on a manual typewriter. Remember these names. You're paying them.

When will conservatives realize that he won’t ever make nice, so why keep on trying to make nice with him.

It isn't conservatives that must realize it, it is the dopey RINOs that must see him for what he is. We get it already.

One could easily come up with a list of pitfalls when working with people of color. But of course, that would be considered horrid and hateful.

One white student attending the conference thanked conference attendees for helping him identify what he perceived as his own racism. “I feel like I’m going to go home and tell my parents that I’m a racist and I’m not proud of that, but I’m proud that I can say that,” he said.

I saw this sap outside chick fil a tonight handing out dollars to ungrateful pan handling black teens.

Funny you should mention DNA. ( ... BTW, this is an atrocious fantasy-classical depiction of the DNA molecule, just as are the depictions shown in the new COSMOS ... )

I note that “It’s in our DNA.” and such expressions have entered the lexicon, usually to describe habitual or acquired characteristics. Consider today’s ( 5/22/14 ) DILBERT for example, with the line “PERHAPS THEY’RE SENSING THAT YOU HAVE TROLL DNA.” ( Cartoon caps in original. ) The next panel continues, “DID YOUR MOM EVER LIVE UNDER A BRIDGE?”

What are we to make of this? The popular discourse has transgressed all bounds of science and logic.
