As Vets Wait To Die, Obama Waits For IG Report

Scandal: While his clueless Veterans Affairs secretary stays, the president issues his response: If reports are true, people will be held accountable — that is, as soon as he gets the inspector general's report in August.

'If these allegations prove to be true, it is dishonorable, it is disgraceful and I will not tolerate it, period," the president said, drawing a red line in his first public comments in weeks on the issue after a meeting with Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki at the White House.

His faux outrage and emotionless tap-dancing differed little from his comments when the IRS was found to be targeting Tea Party groups to aid his re-election.

"If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous and there's no place for it," he said then, promising to wait, yep, for an inspector general's report.

Veterans are tired of waiting for reports. There have been at least 50 of them, as senators pointed out to Shinseki at a hearing, not counting the transition briefing President-elect Obama received in 2008 about a problem he pledged to address in 2009.

Now he has to wait for one more?

SNIP

Actions speak louder than words. Accountability means firing people, starting with Shinseki.

Or must we wait as the president dodges responsibility until some adviser pops up on the TV news to say, as with Benghazi, "Dude, that was, like, so long ago."

It is functionly ignored,
as with the Ambassador being murdered and raped,
because BOTH are the second sweetest sounds
to the undocumented impostor in the White House.

This doesn’t require any more study. Send an audit team to every VA hospital that has complaints. They can study the records at the same time as others on the team get immediate care for anyone who has been “jobbed” by the bureaucrats. A couple of secure phone numbers for both whistle blowers and patients who have had the run around would likely speed up getting help to those who need it.

Of course the SEIU wouldn’t like this so it won’t happen. We have to limit ourselves to being “madder than hell” then schedule our next round of golf.

Democrats in the Senate blocked the bill to remove workers who have caused this. Senate Democrats more concerned with the money they get from the unions than the lives of the Vets

The Obama administration is slow to act because they want to give the NSA time to go through all the emails, phone calls, etc. to see what the damage is and who not to offend.

Obama is in a real pickle. If he starts to overhaul the VA, he will be tacitly admitting that government run healthcare does not work. If he does nothing, he will probably be severely weakened politically (I say probably because you never know if the press will be forced to cover the story or not).

The real problem, of course, is that President Obama was not properly vetted back in 2005 and 2006. Serious and reveling stories about Reverand Wright, his connections to the Weather Underground, and his lack of any political record at all were major stories passed off as political non-sense by the media.

Our system of government was set-up ingeniously to deny people like President Obama from accessing the strongest levers of power. It does, however; only work successfully if the press does their roll.

We are certainly flailing about as a country because Obama is a terrible leader. Obama is who he is and in a way, he can hardly be blamed for being himself. The much more depressing political travesty is the complete failure of our national media complex to inform the public about the true nature of Barack Husein Obama. They’ve created a myth out of a far left politician who could barely run his lecture hall....let alone an entire country.

In short, our politics will not be fixed until our media stops choosing sides and goes where the facts take them instead of to where the ‘coolest vibe’ exist.

Obama is waiting for his teleprompter to say anything about the VA mess. His teleprompter is waiting for focus groups to tell it what to have Obama say. The focus groups are not saying much hopeful yet.

When are people going to realize that this is par for the course? Anyone who doesn’t realize what Obama’s real agenda is, are simply fools.

The Clown Prince was even fired from Baskin Robbins for - wait for it . . . .

Theft of inventory. Yeah, he was stuffing his cake hole with ice cream - unpaid for of course - because, well, he's Barry Obama!

Less than 1,000 days to go until Jan. 20, 2017.

Can’t wait. I sure hope the next president is not yet another liberal acolyte of Saul Alinsky.

I had no idea Obama was fired from Baskin Robbins for stealing? Is that really true or just urban legend? In any case, that’s exactly the kind of story that would have been built (and probably should be built up) if a GOP dude had done it.
