On the May 22 edition of The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd, the MSNBC anchor invited Paul Rieckhoff, founder and CEO of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, to discuss his organizations reaction to the Obamas administrations handling of the VA scandal.
While Todd seemed content to place the blame solely on the faceless VA bureaucracy, Rieckhoff hit back by suggesting the problem is exacerbated by a president who doesnt fire incompetent or negligent administration officials quickly enough.
When Todd attempted to validate the presidents decision not to immediately fire Secretary Shinseki with the defense that if he did, maybe people would stop paying attention to the scandal, Rieckhoff retorted that it is very hard to get fired in this administration in the first place.
The Army veteran then expressed his organizations support for Boehners VA accountability bill which passed the House in a bipartisan vote but could falter in the Democratic-majority Senate. Rieckhoff agreed with Todd that it will probably fly through the Senate, but, he added, the upper chamber of Congress has been pretty silent on veterans concerns compared to the GOP-controlled House, which has continued to be aggressive on veterans issues. And the Democrat Senators say
“Let’s adjourn for the day!”

Rieckhoff gave part of the Democratic response to GW Bush's State of the Union addressI believe in 2004. Before joining the service, he had been student-body president at a way-Lefty, elite New England college. His is the only veterans' organization the State-run media pays attention tohe was their "go-to" veteran to attack President Bush. Jon "Stewart" loves him. To this day, big media turns out in droves for his fund-raisers. It's not clear what his Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America does, how many members it has, or what percentage are veterans. I suspect he gets Tides money, but I wouldn't know.
So, there are two ways to look at it. One is that this is a safe, forgivable issue to attack Obummer and the Democrats on, if you're ambitious for political office, as I'm sure Rieckhoff is, and your organization was created by Soros types to peel away veterans from the conservative fold.
The alternative is that Rieckhoff is showing signs of thinking independently, is sincerely furious, and has had it with the party to which he and his organization owe their media identity and millions of dollars in annual contributions. . . But what am I thinking?

Hopefully he has had an epiphany, but if not he brought out some good points.
How very interesting that this bill is 3 PAGES LONG, and the senate needs to take the time to read it before considering it.
Just a delaying tactic.
They had no problem passing “affordable” health care-—WITHOUT reading it-—which was 2,000 plus pages, and is now over 20,000 pages!
They were busy with passing legislation to keep a sports team from keeping their nickname.

Erica Ritz covered this issue.
Glenn Beck tackled the issue head-on.
Ninety percent of Native Americans feel that the name isnt offensive and shouldnt be changed, Beck remarked, echoing a letter written by the Redskins owner Dan Snyder to fans.Students at primarily Native American schools all across America wear the name with pride, and say now theyre afraid they might lose the name.
At Kingston Oklahoma high school, which is 58 percent Native American, the name Redskins has been worn by its students for 104 years.
In fact, Redskins was a name first used by Native Americans.
In 1932, the NFL team moved to the historic Fenway Park and were left under the leadership of George Preston Marshall.
The very next year, Marshall changed the name to Redskins.
Why?
Beck continued.Well thats a good question for the president to ask
the name was changed to Redskins to honor then-coach Lone Star Dietz, an American Sioux.
So the name actually pays tribute to a great people.
Switching to a deeply sarcastic voice, imitating those who want the name changed, Beck remarked:But the people it pays tribute to?
Oh, I guess they just dont know any better.
But Obama does.
And Peter King does.
And NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell does.
But the majority of the Indians
dont have a clue at all.
The speech police using political correctness again to take care of these helpless, hopeless people so they are never harmed again.
Its for their own good
Beck said perhaps its not those who dont want the name changed who are out of touch, but those

Thanks.
So what? <-——(channeling Harry Reid)-——>
It’s not about Indians having a problem with it, it’s about stalling the Senate and not helping veterans.
Congress adjourned, let’s all go home and corrupt our individual states/districts.

Hay maybe you know.
I saw sometime today that a politician said Marines should be shot in the head. Did you see that? Naturally it won’t show in google. Thanks!

"I saw sometime today that a politician said Marines should be shot in the head. "
That can be explained because it's quite a common statement from liberals about anyone they disagree with.
Someone once said:
"Democrats like to project and accuse others of crimes and misdeeds they themselves do"
Here's something to consider about liberals, and conservatives.
The liberal's problem is psychological projection.
Liberals do this all the time.
Here's a definition.Freudian ProjectionThe following is a collection of definitions of projection from orthodox psychology texts.
In this system the distinct mechanism of projecting own unconscious or undesirable characteristics onto an opponent is called Freudian Projection.
- "A defense mechanism in which the individual attributes to other people impulses and traits that he himself has but cannot accept.
It is especially likely to occur when the person lacks insight into his own impulses and traits."
- "The externalisation of internal unconscious wishes, desires or emotions on to other people.
So, for example, someone who feels subconsciously that they have a powerful latent homosexual drive may not acknowledge this consciously, but it may show in their readiness to suspect others of being homosexual."
- "Attributing one's own undesirable traits to other people or agencies, e.g., an aggressive man accuses other people of being hostile."
- "The individual perceives in others the motive he denies having himself.
Thus the cheat is sure that everyone else is dishonest.
The would-be adulterer accuses his wife of infidelity."
- "People attribute their own undesirable traits onto others.
An individual who unconsciously recognises his or her aggressive tendencies may then see other people acting in an excessively aggressive way."
- "Projection is the opposite defence mechanism to identification.
We project our own unpleasant feelings onto someone else and blame them for having thoughts that we really have."
And here's a problem with honest people.
(General) ProjectionHere projection is assuming that others act or perceive similarly according to this definition it is not necessary for a projected trait to be undesirable or unconscious.
Projection is probably inherent in social animals and the single most important psychological mechanism.
The following are given as examples:
- Individual A assumes that B sees the colour red as he does, until informed that B is colour-blind;
- Someone who never lies is easy to deceive because he projects his truthfulness onto others, assuming that others are honest also;
- It takes one to know one;
- An inept con-man fears that others are trying to cheat him, signals his fear and alerts others;
- (Freudian) An individual who possesses malicious characteristics, but who is unwilling to perceive himself as a protagonist, convinces himself that his opponent feels and would act the same way.
Liberals constantly project their own vile values onto conservatives, intentionally or unintentionally,
and they need to be called on it, be shamed on it, and be laughed at to scorn, when they do it.
We MUST get rid of these evil people.
