Sarah Palin's 2008 vice presidential campaign used the Heart classic Barracuda to play off the popular politician's nickname.
Heart reacted quickly, demanding the campaign to stop using the song at once.
Now, Heart is hoping that not only will Hillary Clinton run for the White House in 2016 but that she'll use the group's music along the way.

Black Heart
They’re still around? I was a sophomore in high school when I listened to them. That wasn’t exactly yesterday.
Hey nothing says great presidential material than someone who not only allowed 4 Americans to die, but watched it happen and laughed while it was taking place
I thought Mrs. Slick Willie had already chosen “Man of Constant Sorrow” as her theme song. “I ain’t no ways tared!”
One thing is for certain.....
If you wish to restart your old music, Sarah Palin can help you get to where you wish to go.
Personally, I’m thankful the Wilson’s chose Hillary. They deserve her.
Frankly, I would rather Sarah Palin chose artists who are deserving of her support and influence. Heart deserves Hillary.
I saw Heart live in 1987.
But that was a hell of a while ago.
Barracuda never was that great a song.
Well, Hillary could use “Barracuda” and it would actually be accurate. Or how about Hall and Oates “Maneater”.
Hillary Barracuda!
Hillary Barracuda?
I believe Dreamboat Annie is a more fitting theme.
Heart songs they could use for her immenseness;
“If Looks Could Kill”
“Crazy on You”
“WTF” ( from 2010 )
“City’s Burning”
“Nothin’ at All”
“Sleep Alone”
“Bebe le Strange”
Either liberal or conservative.
Oh, I've heard the opposite, but it seems to be only liberal artists not wanting conservatives to use their tunes.
David Byrne of Talking Heads I respect, because he doesn't want ANY politician to use his songs.
IIRC, Paul McCartney was pissed off because Michael Jackson bought the Beatles catalogue, then sold music to Nike for use in ads.
Love your Charlie Brown tagline.
I heard Sir McCartney tell the story, and frankly I enjoyed the fact that Michael Jackson bought the catalog. Sir Paul is a liberal and loves to promote liberal causes, and yet he loves his money. Rather hypocritical, but for all of his fame and success, Paul McCartney couldn’t outbid Michael Jackson. This should tell you just how “Bad” MJ really was/is as an artist.
Heart should change it’s name to Rectum
I don’t begrudge any musician who guards their music. After all, it’s their property. I don’t have a problem with the Wilson sisters decision, but to beg Hillary to play their songs is not only embarrassing, but desperate.
