An elderly Pakistani immigrant beat his wife to death with a stick after the doomed woman made the mistake of cooking him lentils for dinner instead of the hearty meal of goat meat that he craved, according to court papers.
Noor Hussein, 75, was so outraged over the prospect of eating the vegetarian fare that he pummeled his wife, Nazar Hussein, 66, inside their Brooklyn apartment until she was a "bloody mess," prosecutors said in opening statements of his murder trial Wednesday.
Mr Hussein used "a stick that the family had found in the street and used to stir their laundry in a washtub". So, aside from a new wife, the poor guy now has to get a new laundry stick. His attorney says we need to be more culturally sensitive:
"He comes from a culture where he thinks this is appropriate conduct, where he can hit his wife," Clark said in her opening statements at the Brooklyn Supreme Court bench trial. "He culturally believed he had the right to hit his wife and discipline his wife."

The left is “winning” the battle of the Culture Wars. One might arguably call it the struggle for the soul of this nation. We are losing.
The left would suggest that the right, regarding itself as faithful, (and drawing it’s moral authority from that faith) are the cultural “soul-mates” with the likes of Mr. Hussein. Yet it is the left, deliberately choosing to defy the euphemistic law of gravity with the imposition of the morally rudderless Moral Relativism, that allows the Hussein’s of this world to persist.
If you’ve ever argued with a leftist you’ve witnessed the phenomena of hair-splitting. They indulge in it like no others. They insist, “We must respect, nay, celebrate multiculturalism” and then rationalize away outrageous behavior with, “He comes from a culture where he thinks this is appropriate conduct, where he can hit his wife”.
Right is right and wrong is wrong, except to a leftist. That is because Liberalism is a mental disorder.

To me, the really, really disgusting thing about this was that the American defense attorney (a woman, and city paid, I imagine) actually said in his defense that it was ok in “his culture” to “discipline” your wife that way. “Discipline” your wife? And something is OK because you come from a stinking armpit of the world that subscribes to an insane death cult so therefore you can do whatever you want?

Right after 9/11, my buddy, who had to run away from the sight of the Twin Towers exploding,from fifty or so blocks away, walking with her stroller bound child, complained to me that when she, months later, as shopping at a local mall, was offended by the sight of weapon laden National Guardsmen patrolling for signs of a repeat.
The logic is very twisted. They are much less offended, outwardly, anyway, by well...anything else.
I have many other anecdotes.
But this describes the situation as well as any.
Smells like surrender to me.

Then I remembered that all cultures are equal.

My understanding is that what you’re describing is a “ceremonial nick”, intended to provide a symbolic adherence to this barbarous tradition without doing permanent damage to the baby’s clitoris. (We can’t mince words when discussing this obscene depraved culture.)
This is clearly another example of the “cooking-a-frog” paradigm. Get everyone used to “ceremonial nicks”, then insist that a small cut would be more “mulit-cultural” and before anyone notices girl babies born in European hospitals will be having their genitals mutilated at taxpayer expense.
Meanwhile the Left in America is doing everything it can to undermine the Judeo-Christian culture here that for now is preventing this sort of atrocity.
