First lady Michelle Obama is more aggressively wading into policy fights while expanding her portfolio.
Six years into the Obama administration, the first lady has gone to bat on issues outside her bailiwick in the East Wing.

Anyone remember seeing a headline like this (or even close!) when either of the Bush wives were FL's?

Michelle Obama...the Democrats’ Plan B (in case Hillary is unable to run in 2016).
Our local Sunday paper had a picture today of “the staff” tending her garden - a National Park service employee in full uniform picking weeds. In other words we are paying for her to have a prop garden.
