Poroshenko wins in landslide, vows to 'bring peace' to Ukraine (UPDATES)

Petro Poroshenko wins Ukraine's presidency in the first round, according to the results of two national exit polls, with approximately 56 percent of the vote.

Ukrainians elected Petro Poroshenko to be their fifth president in a vote that was dubbed "the second independence referendum."

Poroshenko won his presidency in the first round, according to two exit polls.

The poll conducted by four TV channels showed that he received 57.8 percent of the vote. The national exit poll, conducted by a consortium of reputable survey takers, put Poroshenko at slightly less -- 55.9 percent of the votes, but still a clear majority.

His main rival, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, received 12.8 of the vote in the TV poll and 12.9 percent in the national poll.

Everyone else finished in single digits in both exit polls.

A second round of voting would have been required on June 15 if no candidate among the 21 on the ballot had secured the majority of votes.

I don’t think any of these guys nashing their teeth have a clue what’s happening in Ukraine....their level of denial is beyond stunning and borders on “disturbed” IMO. They just like to make “noise”.

Was just listening to a lively discussion about Ukraine's election....it was raised yet again, only now out of Europe, that Porsh just might not object to Donestk and Eastern Ukrainians being an Independent State, only there reasoning is it would likely satisfy the Oligarchs.

That's like letting Mafia bosses run their territories...LOL...Nobody does it like Ukraine...they've even been listed as worse than Russia for corruption in their Government.

Not exactly an online vote by any means....."Representatives from eight south-eastern regions voting at the people's congress in Donetsk to form Novorossiya.

These are the "representatives" picked by the separatists, who themselves had a sham vote with imaginary 90 percent turnout. Presumably the only people who voted against were the ones trapped in the basements being tortured.

Maidan was hijacked by people with a far different agenda than was the original intent.

At this point, your lies are already pointless. With the election, you won't be able to claim that Nazis are running anything anymore (which was itself a big lie you've repeated constantly).

Kinda like the Continental Congress, eh?

I see you have the DailyKos/EuroMaidanPR approved meme down pat.

Right now, RightSector/Svoboda are still running the show. Get back to me when they, and the Oligarchs supporting them, ACTUALLY give up power, K?

Don’t be sad...

Golden Dawn took 9+% of the vote in Greece, so you will still have actual Nazi’s MEP’s you can spin and deny for.

That's easy, Right Sector/Svoboda were never in power. This was a lie the 1st time you said this and the first time I called you on it. Even you admit that, since both of them are anti-EU, and part of your big lie is that they're being controlled by Pro-EU Soros. Your conspiracy theory has never been consistent. Kinda like the Continental Congress, eh?

Another product of our public education system, eh?

Explain to me WHY the coup-appointed Governor of Dnepropetrovsk actually lives in Switerland??

If you dare, of course. That will answer a LOT about you.

Dude, get it straight: the winner is a Jew Nazi controlled by anti-EU Nazis supported by pro-EU Jew George Soros. RT just tweeted it.

I don't really believe you that he lives in Switzerland, but I also don't care. Doesn't really matter, since Poroshenko and the government at large, in line with the Maidan, is in favor of devolving power to the regions. Presumably, the appointment system will be replaced, and hopefully soon. (Though in Russia, they recently went from votes to the appointment by Putin!)

By the way, Kolomoisky is a Jewish anti-Putin billionaire, supposedly appointed by the "Nazis" Ukrainian "coup" government, AKA, the same Ukrainian Rada that's been in power since 2012.

I KNEW you weren’t going to answer. That is why I asked it.
To do so would put to the obvious lie everything you have been claiming.

I think you should probably read my post before you copy and paste your knee-jerk reply.

I agree these are the representatives selected since the referendum ...and they're certainly moving forward with their agenda for full Statehood....it also appears there is talk that it's possible Porsh may very well support them doing so.

However the only people hurting and in basements are these ill "Hospital Patients" who were taken to the hospital basement 'Semenovka' as they were being shelled by the Kiev Gov/Right Sector

Or these children huddled in a cellar in 'Slavyansk' hiding from the Ukrainian army's shelling

Some photos coming out that are quite moving...."This is Zinaida, 73 years old woman from Voronezh. She came to Mariupol as volunteer to take medical care of Donetsk and Lugansk defenders......Despite her age she's doing her duty pretty well as her patients say.
