Yes, Obama meddling is probably what lit this bonfire.

I hope that this election calms things down, perhaps some kind of alignment might be possible now with eastern Ukraine.

Crimea is united with Russia for good, I think that is best given that it is full of Russian soldiers and their most important port facility is there.

I may be totally wrong but I get the feeling that Obama and the dems are looking to start a major war so they can blame the inevitable economic collapse on some external enemy and avoid having the blame land at their feet. They are trying to start war in Syria and Ukraine...if they can’t get one there they may try N.Korea or who knows where else...but they are itching for war IMO.

As soon as the dead ender Russian wannabees come out and surrender, things can settle down.

Otherwise, it’s a time for killing.

I don’t think they are looking to start a “Major War”. But this is TWICE now that their incompetence has almost stumbled us into one. Russia is determined to not let what happened in Libya happen again.

I have always said the whole situation in Ukraine is part of a much larger Geopolitical game. that took advantage of the already existing unrest lying just below the surface. Lots of factors are at work here.

Also, remember how after Putin made a fool of Obama after the Syria episode, Dem pundits were all over the TV saying “there are other ways to get at Putin.

Now, WHEN did the radicals show up at the Maidan, and when did it turn violent??

It may not be “for the best”, but the Russians certainly aren’t stupid. They knew what was going on next door in Ukraine, and made plans to act if the government fell.

I don’t think the Obamunists thought Putin would react to it, or, if he did, that he would react so fast. You can tell by the Administrations reaction, they didn’t have a plan B. Twitter hashtags don’t constitute an effective policy.

Sure. And Obama was around in ~2007 and lit the bonfire in Georgia. And Obama was around in 2004 and lit the bonfire in Ukraine.

Right??
