In my youth, I photographed crime scenes for a living. I came away with two convictions:
1. There IS such a thing as evil.
2. The capacity of humans to harm other humans in new and different ways is limitless.
He also shot and injured quite a few. If you put the SB Sheriff’s details on a map, it becomes clear the whole thing took place within about a mile of his apartment.
