Will GOP pass O-Care replacement?

House conservatives will press their leaders this week to move on an ObamaCare replacement bill before the August recess.

But it’s unclear if there are enough votes to pass it.

According to several GOP lawmakers, members of the conservative-leaning Republican Study Committee (RSC) plan to wear lapel pins to the weekly conference meeting that state, “HR 3121, There’s a Better Way” as a sign of support for moving a bill that is co-sponsored by 130 House Republicans.

Rep. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.) the lead sponsor of H.R. 3121, the “American Health Care Reform Act of 2013,” told The Hill that RSC members will “all wear little pins to conference [this] week … to push our leadership to bring this bill up or [another] bill up.” …

Fools. Don't they know hashtags are much more effective?

So what? Bring it up for a vote - let's be reminded who's for liberty and who's against it.

There IS a better way ... eliminate the government from all things medical.

Let the people and the market determine cost/price/services etc.

If no one bought insurance because there was an abortion clause in the policy, I guarantee you the companies would drop the provision like a hot rock.

There aren't enough queers to be of any financial consequence if there were no politicians to squeeze because the politicians had been neutered.

The GOPe only passes all of this to get out the vote. If they thought it would actually pass the Senate and not get vetoed of course they wouldn’t pass 80% of what they do manage to pass.

The Tennessee doctor said the GOP has two months to move an alternative to the House floor before lawmakers head back to their districts for the month-long recess.

Two months? Boehner may have sobered up by then.

Anything that retains the unconstitutional individual mandate is a non starter. The only thing the GOPe - a subsidiary of the Chamber of Commerce - is interested in is furthering and expanding on ways to indenture the subjects to various crony corporations.

From the article:This is why we need term limits.

Even though they are incumbents and even though incumbents win most of the time, they are still scared shitless they will loose their position and their power.

That prevents them from doing their job which is to do the will of us.

TERM LIMITS!

“members of the conservative-leaning Republican Study Committee”

Still a bunch of RINO’s. Almost on is still off, almost
right is still wrong and almost conservative, in this case
“conservative leaning” is still liberal.
I guess you could say they are the Republican wing of
the democrat party.

We don’t want Obamacare replaced. We want it killed and wooden stake driven through its heart.
The system we had for years was just fine.

Great. That will show them they REALLY mean business by wearing a small lapel pin. Not much different than the rats’ strategy of “a strongly worded letter” to terrorists or rogue nations.

No. It’s BS and just symbolic. Our side is too wimpy to do anything.

Even if the Republican left loses, and Obamacare is dumped, it will take years to pick up the broken pieces of what we had, and the problem will be compounded by more government meddling. The problem with healthcare is that it costs too much, and that cost is the result of decades of government mandates and policies. This county needs a good black market healthcare system.

From the article, its clear the GOPE will never willingly return the hefty political club the rats gave them.

It isn't in the personal interests of the GOPE to repeal Obamacare.

So, despite the tremendous dislocations and suffering by millions of Americans, Obamacare is here to stay.

Just do as you are told and keep voting for the Uniparty.

“Conservative-leaning” = putting on a transparent masquerade of conservatism when election time rolls around.
