I scarcely want to compare the photos of The President...with any similarly shot images of...the Resident

Ahem, you forgot to mention that a tissue would be a big help in viewing the pictures.

Of all the things I had vehement disagreements with President Bush on, one of the things I never doubted was his love of, and dedication to our Military and especially to those who were wounded in action. He's a fine man.

Thanks for that Kristinn. Anyone can say whatever they want about W, but he genuinely loved and respected our troops.

You should tell people that this post makes their monitors blurry though!

I didn’t like his politics all of the time, but he is one good man.

It always pissed me off the way they accused Bush of carrying a plastic turkey. Look at how that tray is sagging in the middle. Does that look plastic to you?

Of course that’s a real turkey, beautifully displayed. My brother served as a naval officer in Iraq. He said that the love and care and quality that went into holiday meals for enlisted men and women was amazing. It’s been a few years since he was there, but IIRC, he sent some nice pictures.

I served 20 years in the Navy. The Thanksgiving Day meals were the best, no matter where I was. On all the ships I served on, in Italy, in Virginia - turkey day was always a great meal and the cooks always did an outstanding job in preparing the turkey and all the other food.
