I wouldn’t count on accurate numbers. The Federal government has been stockpiling weapons since the Bush administration.
I’m thinking there has to be some kind of armory system that would evade much of this.

If they put out the real numbers, it would stun the nation. It is more likely they will put out phony numbers so their friends like snopes will have something to “debunk” the people asking why the government is so overly armed.

SSL/TLS encapsulation does a pretty good job. The endpoint host would have to capture every bit in a header and then figure out how to decrypt it. That’s a recipe for a headache. We’re still a few years away from quantum computing, and even then, cracking 2048-bit encryption would take days.
It will no doubt be one lie after a another. They have nothing to gain by releasing this information.
