The GOP until lately had been the party that made more sense. It was pushing for egalitarianism about race long before egalitarianism about race was cool.

Democrats in contrast were slick good ole boys pulling sly moves.

Now there’s been an estrangement from God in general. This does not bode well, unless corrected. In the middle of the grocery store, even though blocking a display that some other shopper is trying to get at, we can pick up that cellphone and yack with an uncle on the other coast, but will we talk with such urgency to an omnipresent Father in Heaven or His Son?
