The White House has launched an internal probe after its press office inadvertently outed the top CIA official in Afghanistan -- a national security blunder that could put that individual at risk. A spokeswoman with the National Security Council confirmed to Fox News that the White House chief of staff asked White House Counsel Neil Eggleston to look into what happened and make recommendations on how the administration can improve processes and make sure something like this does not happen again. The brief statement from the National Security Council was the first on-the-record comment made by the administration since the

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“nyuk nyuk nyuk”
Yes, they’ll get right on that. It’ll be Bush’s fault, or the gridlock in Congress, or those nasty Repubs. Haven’t heard the VWRC mentioned lately, time to give them a turn.
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
Accidental and Inadvertently?
Somebody better be fired. And the Washington Post reporter who sent out the names should be fired for thinking that he shouldn’t have emailed the list to a zillion other reporters.
Its “Who’s Fault is it Anyway”
internal probe = find out if anyone is retiring soon
Oh Puleaseeeee,not this crap again!
Just more smoke and mirrors.
Why don’t they just blame it on Scooter Libby?
"This was no boating accident!"
They are already saying they are going to find out so it never happens again........I am truly fed up with this line of reasoning. WHO DID IT? And will they be prosecuted?? What evil clowns are in charge of this country! Oh, and I am SURE they will not be be to find any actual wrongdoing on the part of anyone in the WH. They NEVER can.

Ahhhh, the old “internal probe” riff. I think I’ve heard that one before. For some, it never seems to get old. To this administration, it’s like recycling the same old jokes over and over and over. And their supporters...? They seem to get the same chuckle from them every time, no matter how many times they get used. Is Scooter still in the slammer?
If you look at all of the pre-attack Bengazi “slip-ups”, a Hobson’s choice inevitably floats up into one’s mind:
1. These are all slip-ups and regime is the most stupid in human history
2. These “slip-ups” are deliberate acts as prep for a “Cyclops/Stevens exchange” negotiated by Obama right before his squeaker re-election
WHICH of those two is politically better for The Regime right now?
So what might you do NOW in order to better camouflage the awful, dastardly truff?
Yeah, you’d make one or two really basic, huge slip-ups, something that might require a Scooby-Doo banana peel sound effect.
SORRY but I think this latest “slip-up” is also nothing of the sort:
IT IS CAMOUFLAGE.
Same as all his scandals. Lather, rinse, repeat.
The Obama White House always investigates themselves and find nothing wrong with their actions.
I would love to see the day when people stand up and demand an investigating by people other than the Obama admin investigating the Obama admin.
This is really unacceptable.
When President Obama learned of this incident on the news - like all us other Americans - he was really mad. He won’t sleep until responsible parties have been identified and punished and measures have been taken to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.
