Out on the fundraising trail with liberal donors in Chicago last week, President Obama spread a ridiculous tale. He told the donors that he and the Democrats are the compromise-seeking moderates, while the Republican are fringy ideologues who stubbornly cause all the gridlock. Obama blamed the media for making this sound like two-way stubbornness.
Whatever he said was what someone else put on the teleprompter.
I do not care for this Obama person.

Now you can understand why the owners of the Democratic Party (the teachers’ unions) stopped teaching history (among other things) decades ago. A friend’s father who lived in Italy in the 1930s said the Italian government (led by Mussolini and a king) had no interest in dealing with educated citizens; they preferred ignorant sheep (just like the Nazis, Bolsheviks, Khmer Rouge, etc.).
